Disagree...DL makes secondary better you saw if happen a couple years ago. There's also a TON of very good DBs to be had outside of the top 10

Well so far only 2 years spent on DLine and we only hit on one.

What we do have are a ton of young highly drafted DB's.

Carlos Rogers top 10 pick, Dontae Whitner top 10 pick did our d line really turn those guys into Pro Bowlers? It was more along the lines of our talented front 7 recruited other talent.

This kid has done exactly what? 4 picks in a season? theres cbs that get that in 5 games. Talk about overated mofo

how does this guy compare to last year's top CB coming out, Jalen Ramsey? Who is a better prospect coming out?

Interesting you mention both those guys as neither were drafted by the 49ers and came in as experienced vets via F/A.

What does Justin have to do with what I said?

Dline and more importantly the front 7 is the biggest hole on this team right now.

My thought process is when we are on the clock you have 3 db's worthy of the pick:adams, hooker, and latimore. One DL... Thomas. It just depends our board.

Ramsey was the better prospect coming out, but Ramsey was arguably a better prospect than anyone but Garrett in this year's draft class, so that shouldn't prevent Lattimore from being in the discussion for the #2 pick.

Ramsey is bigger (16 pounds heavier, an inch taller, and his arms are more than 2" longer), more experienced, and better in run support with the ability to play either CB or FS. Lattimore is a little more fluid while Ramsey is a bigger and a little more explosive. Lattimore's injury concerns push him down behind several players in this year's draft class.

Ramsey has ideal size and length for the position while Lattimore has mediocre size and length. He's similar in size to Desmond Trufant and Bradley Roby (Roby has much bigger hands though).

Lattimore: 6'0 193 31 1/4" arms, 8 7/8" hands
Trufant: 6'0 190 31 1/4" arms, 8 5/8" hands
Roby: 5'11 194 31 1/2" arms, 10 1/4" hands

Ramsey: 6'1 209 33 3/8" arms, 9 1/2" hands

Justin was also a fa it doesn't mean dline isn't draft worthy. Our secondary was great because it was talented (2 top 10 picks) not just because of the dline although it certainly helps. Qb is the biggest hole on the team BTW.

This draft is way too deep on CB'S to take him #2. I think this pick would piss me off more than any player being mocked to us
