This TE class is really interesting, some real weapons.

He's an athletic freak and should be talked about

Speaking with CBS Sports' Dane Brugler, one NFL scout passed along word from his team's TE coach that Miami TE David Njoku has "the most upside he's ever seen in a prospect" at the position.

Just wait for the love Njoku is going to receive after the NFL Combine. Njoku split time with talented tight ends at Miami, which is one reason why his production might be lower than other prospects at the position. However, he boasts an inline frame and unreal athleticism and does not turn 21 years old until July. Upside, high ceiling, potential... he has it all.

He's the next VD and he's gonna go bananas at the combine

I'm not on the draft a TE early bandwagon but this kid is a mismatch nightmare.

I just watched the first 3 plays of the highlight video. He's not like VD, he caught the balls with his hands, lol

OJ Howard is pretty freaky too.

Without question but he's gonna be a top 15 pick

And he only jumped for passes he had to jump for.
I think the team has bigger needs to spend its #34 or #66 overall pick than yet another TE.
This guy is going to be a match-up nightmare for defenses with the right OC and QB. He's got unlimited potential.

What if that TE has the potential to be a big receiver so you could be killing two birds with one stone.

As good of a TE class as I can remember
Will be keeping an eye on him at combine. I've seen him go in late 1st in some mocks, but he seems like more of a mid to late 2nd rounder imo.
I like a lot of the TEs in the draft. I prefer Jake Butt due to the value we can get out of the pick. Not to sound like Baalke but drafting a player who will drop due to injury but was considered a 1st-2nd round prospect in say the 4th or 5th could be a steal. Jakes game wasn't built around making sharp cuts or blazing speed so his ACL injury shouldn't change his game at all.
