That's a lot of chips falling in the right way, but I wouldn't be mad about that offseason at all. Corey Davis is a stud. Reminds me of TO.

I would cry tears of joy. Not sure Ballard would come into a situation with a "Football Czar" type of position sitting above him, but it's got to give us a better chance than having the Yorks running the search. Also heard Kyle Shanahan might want to forge his own path, independent of dad, to make his own name a little more in the league. Lastly, not sure Pettine takes the job to unseat his friend and protege.

All those concerns notwithstanding, I'd be pumped with those developments. Great staff, great FA, and great draft. In his first HC stint, Shanny could benefit from having Shanny Sr as a sounding board, as long as he doesn't push boundaries.

Giving McKinley a pair of veteran starters ahead of him to compete with and learn more sophisticated technique from would be huge for his development. Speaking of HUGE, I'm starting to get googly eyes for Tanoh Kpassagnon, who is another developmental OLB, with a little better hands than McKinley, a little less of the constant motor that McKinnley has, but more athleticism, better bend, and freak potential at 6'7", 290 and fast! I think he could be had with a trade down from the Browns' 2nd, as long as he doesn't blow up the Senior Bowl and Combine too bad.

You can probably get a lot greater haul for that 2nd pick. We could easily pull a 1st next year to the right team. Other than that it looks fine.

This... if the browns really want Trubisky, we hold the upper hand and they would need to give use their next year's first instead of 2nd.

Well, I don't have to make a mock as you almost read what I have on mind lol.Such as the trade down scenario and the Browns moving up to #2 for Trubisky. The trade for Garropolo who becomes your starter rather than drafting a rookie and have him sit for awhile.Drafting a true no.1 WR whether it is Williams or Davis and OLB T. Mckinley. Maybe Beckwith can be had later and I like Brown for depth and development.
On your free agency pickups, if we can add a center like JC Tretter or draft one rather than sign Zeitler but I will be if this happend. Other than that

There you go..solidify the offensive front and add weapons so that our QB will have a chance to succeed! Defensively, sign 2-3 free agents ILB,NT,OLB and fill the rest thru the draft.

Love front office and staff. But does Pettine run a true 3-4?

Nice. I think I'd like to keep Smith though. I still think he has value with a competent QB running things

Whew...that's a boatload to digest. Overall, there's a lot to like. Agree, it is a lot of blocks to fall in line. I wouldn't necessarily count on Kyle Shanahan...he may not want to work for his Dad. He did in Cleveland for awhile, 'til the toxicity between MS and Snyder was too much to take. I'd like to see them together, but they may not be a packaged deal.

I'd strongly consider Brandon Williams or Bennie Logan at NT. Yeah, they'd cost more, but both are better than Sly Williams. The middle of our defense has to be rebuilt, big-time. There's cap space to pay for a really good one.

I'd sign either Jack Doyle or Martellus Bennett at TE. Very disappointed in Celek...I think he needs to go.

Like your draft, but I'd opt for Pat Mahomes at QB. I get the skepticism of playing at Texas Tech, but he's got abilities to play in virtually any style of offense. This dude can really play and would be a good rookie to develop, IMHO.

I love the draft but things have changed as of now. We're tied with the Browns therefore we have the first pick and I think no matter what we go Garrett if we keep the first pick and lose out

Nothing has changed until the 49ers finish their game. Then we can see where pick and go from there.

Agreed if we pick #1, it's Garrett. No question.

i don't understand why u would want to trade a high 2nd round pick for garapollo??? mallet, Cassell, ect isnt enough for us to understand its a system thing
