Heres a prediction of our offseason draft (that is, if baalke is canned immediately after the season) HC: Remains Chip. I think he gets another year if he doesn't go off to a college this offseason OC: Curtis Modkins. I hope he gets fired but I see him staying. He seriously seems like a dumbass though, but not as bad as O'NEIL. DC: Joey Porter. I know O'Neil will be fired after the season, and Porter would be a perfect pickup as a players coach and an intelligent guy. A huge upgrade from Crap'Neil. GM: Tom Gamble or someone in a successful franchise front office. Baalke I think is officially fired, and we let someone take the reins. Baalke has been so bad. I mean in no way should there be 1 player left in the NFL from his 2012 draft!? Inexcusable. He needs to go. Cuts/Trades: SS Antoine Bethea: His time as a top end SS has been done and this last game solidified it. Time to begin the Tartt era as SS. OLB Ahmad Brooks: He deserves to go to a team that can win. He can still bring an impact given he isn't doubled teamed as the best pass rusher on this team. He isn't a starter. C Marcus Martin: He's as good as gone. He's added nothing but sacks to this team. Bye Bye "best center in the draft". MLB Michael Wilhoite: I think he's a free agent at the end of the year but he's gone. Bye Mike. QB Colin Kaepernick, Blaine Gabbert: They're both gone. I see no reason keeping Gabbert especially, and Kap needs to go to a different city. Best of luck to Kap though. CB Tramaine Brock: Due to the young talent, and his inconsistency, he will see the door this offseason. He had a good run for us, but he needs to go. (Trade) Dontae Johnson to Colts for a 2018 5th round pick. (Trade) WR Torrey Smith to Eagles for a 2017 4th round pick and a 2018 6th round pick. Resigns: TE Vance McDonald: He'll be extended, but man, he needs to sit in front of a jug machine all day every day if he wants to be great. RB Dujuan Harris: He will be the #1/2 RB depending on Hyde for the rest of the season, but he's been good. Glad to see him be a spark in a terrible team. MLB Ray Ray Armstrong: Showed flashes before his injury. Will be a solid backup for a few years. K Phil Dawson: Unless he retires, I see us extending him a year or two. Still good as new and a great leader for our team. Free Agency: OLB Jarvis Jones: Has underperformed in PIT, but could use a change of scenery + playing with Porter and knows his system. Better backup then Harold thats forsure. QB Nick Foles: He gets back with Chip, and is a solid backup/fill in. SS Tony Jefferson: Immediately plays a part in this defense, starts at SS and Tartt and him will swap snaps/be used in different ways. Very versatile. TE Larry Donnell: Good hands and a solid all around TE, Donnell gives a big upgrade over Bell and Celek. DT Jonathon Hankins: Adds a big upgrade to a young core. Good run stuffer, would be a nice pickup. WR Kenny Stills: Add what Torrey gave us, but more speed and younger. Would like to see him in Chip's offense. WR Markus Wheaton: Would be a great pickup along with Stills. Our whole receiving corps needs a due-over. I think we get it this offseason. MLB Kiko Alonzo: My final addition, but who knows if Jed spends the money in free agency. We sure need it though. Alonzo would add a major upgrade to our MLB position. Draft: Round 1: OLB Myles Garrett (Texas A&M): We select Garrett with the 2nd pick I believe because he's too good to pass on. The Browns just got Collins and erased the need of a pass rusher of Garrett's caliber. He changes our defense immediately. Round 2: QB Brad Kaaya (Miami): Not my ideal choice for Quarterback, but outside of Kizer, Watson, and Trubisky (who are all selected round 1), I think Kaaya drops to round 2. Would approve of him in the 2nd, given his natural throwing abilities and hasn't had an efficient OL all his college career. Round 3: DE/DT Montravious Adams (Auburn): Adds more depth to a defensive group that seriously needs it. Who knows when Armstead will be 100%, and Adams brings far more talent than the likes of Jerrod Eddie and Blair (who I still do like). Will be a future starter. Round 4: WR Malachi Dupre (LSU): A 6'2 do-it-all receiver, Dupre would add a nice dimension to our offense and would be a solid #2 or 3 WR with Wheaton and Stills on the team. Adds a different dimension and would improve our team a lot. Round 4 (PHI pick): CB/FS Kevin King (UW): A 6'3 specimen, King is a stud. Would immediately be a cornerback on our team that could compete for playing time and also be a valuable special teams guy at first with his versatility. Could cover big WR's, something we truly lack. Round 5: C Kyle Fuller (Baylor): A starter for 3 years, Fuller has been nothing but consistent at Baylor, earning first and second Big 12 team honors as he's continued to lead a steady group of lineman in Waco. Round 5: RB De'Veon Smith (UM): Our first draftee under Jim Harbaugh's Michigan team, Smith adds an upgrade to Mike Davis, who I hope is cut this offseason. I would love him on our squad. Round 6: OT Levon Myers (NIU): Another NIU product, Myers offers good length and multiple starts. Would immediately be a solid backup. Round 6: Traded to NE for a 2018 6th rounder (don't think we keep all our picks so I had to trade one) Round 7: WR Devon Allen (UO): A true speedster, Chip gets an Oregon product on the team who can immediately impact our special teams. I believe he could be a steal. Round 7: ILB Ben Boulware (Clemson): A true leader and stat stuffer, Boulware would be a great 7th round addition to a inconsistent MLB corps. Undrafted Signees: QB Trevor Knight (Oklahoma): Added as a QB to our team, he has the skill set, but reminds me of another Driskel. WR Trey Griffey (Arizona): Son of Ken Griffey, he is simply a pac 12 add and a solid undrafted free agent. The rest I have no clue. Most them don't make it anyways haha. Depth Chart: QB: Foles/Kaaya/Lewis/Knight RB: Hyde/Harris/Smith/Davis WR: Wheaton/Stills/Dupre/Ellington/Streater/Allen/Griffey TE: Donnell/McDonald/Celek/Bell OT: Staley/Brown/Myers/Theus OG: Garnett/Tiller/Beadles C: Kilgore/Fuller DE: Amsted/Buckner/Adams/Blair/Dorsey DT: Hankins/Adams/Dorsey OLB: Garrett/Jones/Carradine/Harold MLB: (IR)Bowman/Alonzo/Armstrong/Boulware/Skov CB: Ward/Robinson/Redmond/King/Reaser FS: Reid/Ward/King SS: Jefferson/Tartt/Cromartie K: Dawson P: Pinion Ultimately, the rebuild starts. We need pieces still sure, but we solidify a quarterback to build without using an early pick on an unproven quarterback. Besides if Kizer drops which I hope he does, Kaaya is the only quarterback worthy of a selection. I wouldn't mind him starting day 1, but the 2018 season would be a much better product on the field if this was the depth chart.

hate the FAs you picked up for the most part, hate the Kaaya pick, don't mind the Adams and King picks.

Wouldn't be a fan of this off season to be honest

Not big on this. OC dint matter because Chip runs the offense. But why trade Smith? We need quality players not more draft picks. Smith is better then anyone we will get in the 4th. Smith's game will pick up if we can add pieces around him. That's just 1 thing I picked out.

Ultimately, I do want a quarterback round 1. But, I am curious to see if we pass up a Garrett type player for a guy like Kizer or Watson who could be boom or bust in the NFL.

Kaaya folds like a lawn chair whenever he gets a little pressure on him...IMO he should stay another yr.

mitch trubisky Looks like the real deal and I'd take him if there.

yeah I can see why a lot of ppl dislike this mock, I personally don't like Kaaya either..id much rather Mahomes if no Trubisky or Watson in the 1st..if that was different I'm sure a lot would say different..i do like your other picks tho..Adams is a beast and I think Dupree with a real QB could be a steal in this draft..not so crazy about the free agents signed..

Why would Foles come back to play for Chip after he casted him out of Philly? Reid is a much better fit for Foles and they have a much better relationship. Plus i do not want him starting.

Stills and Wheaton will just add to our list of mediocre WRs. Stills makes big plays but Torrey does that too so might as well keep Torrey who has better route running skills. Wheaton hardly does anything with Big Ben as his QB, why do you think he would perform well with Foles under center?

Kaaya doesnt seem like anything special to me. Seems like he will fold in the NFL

I dont know man, seems like the same sorry a** team we have now. Could be worse

I still say Garrett is the top player in the draft and it would be difficult to say that we made A bad pick taking him just because he's not a QB.
