If I had the chance to land Garrett I think I would take it. Your way looks good though.

Solid signings, but I think it's a bit unrealistic to expect Baalke to throw that kind of money around in FA. No way we cut Torrey Smith.

That is a pretty solid offseason. I personally would stay put and draft the best player in the draft in Myles Garrett but with the addition of Chandler Jones in FA, I see how you can go in another direction. If we can get a haul in FA like this, our draft would be a lot less stressful. Why do you think Falk will last into the 3rd round?

Thanks for the mock...since the season is lost it's fun to think of ways to make the team better lol.
I don't want to sound like a dick, but this mock is a bit unrealistic with all the crazy signings. Jones and Hightower aren't going anywhere and we will have to seriously over pay for any FA (would love Poe).
I don't really see the point in cutting Smith? We have a TON of cash already and zero at the position. IMO it's not chip's system (example Djax in Philly) it's the QB position.
Who's starting QB in 2017? Falk? Blaine? Kelly? I also don't see anyway Falk or Kelly drop to where you have them going to be honest.
I really don't see Tenn giving away both their 1sts and I don't see McKinley as a first rd pick let alone a top 15 pick at this point.
Overall I don't hate it but it's far from reality IMHO...a lot of time for things to change though

So we let the Titans get an impact player on defense instead of us? Don't like that trade. We need impact players
I think they will play Beadles and Garnett next year but not opposed to signing Zeitler
Chandler Jones is a wishful thinking. Why would they resign an aging Campbell over a young pass rusher? Floyd has disappeared and they would easily let him walk. Jefferson is a good player that I'm sure they want to keep.
Kamar Aiken...meh...
Poe's play has dropped off since having that back issue. But I'd be cool with that signing
Hightower signing is good

Of course this is all wishful thinking but if not Jones then Sheard and if not Hightower then someone similar. Most of these guys will be resigned but a couple will slip through the cracks.
With Falk I think his arm and the the leach system might pull him down and Kelly has a lot of red flags that could make him slide. I could see Tennessee moving up to get Garrett or Peppers. Not likely but we need a lot of talent in a lot of places, not just one position. And McKinley....beast.
But yeah, I'm just a depressed fan that throws up in my mouth every time the niners play so my post is more a vent than anything I'd see as realistic. Still a lot of football left so who knows where these guys land.

Garrett < McKinley, Foster, Sprinkle+2018 1st. I love Garrett but we have too many holes and the draft is a crap shoot.

Can't fix everything in one off season. But if you can solve the qb or get a legit pass rusher then get them and don't get cute trading away the picks for future picks.

Don't want to burst your bubble but Hightower isn't going anywhere. Pats were basically deciding who to pay from Chandler Jones, Jamie Collins and Hightower...I think they made their decision.
Doubt Falk lasts til the 3rd round. Wouldn't surprise me to see him jump into the first round.
Also your draft and free agents don't make sense.
Why would the 49ers trade down when they have a stud pass rusher like Myles Garrett available to them to draft a lesser player at the same position and then draft an ILB after signing Hightower. Are you just throwing Bowman out the door?

That is alot of money you are shelling out. Picking up 4 very high priced FAs. I dont see Hightower or Chandler Jones making it out to FA. Dontari Poe is a good realistic option though. You are right that the Chiefs will probably pick Berry over him. Zeitler is also a good pickup.
I like your picks but i agree with some of the other posters here that if you have a chance at a player like Garrett, you pull the trigger without even thinking. When rebuilding, we need to get as many blue chip players as possible. We have gone down that road of compiling numerous picks and Baalke flushed them all down the toliet. Lets pick up the players that have virtually no bust potential and will be a cornerstone of this team for the next 10 years.

I'm not throwing Bow out the door but massive knee damage followed by an Achilles is definitely cause for concern. The fact that we weren't prepared for injuries to players with an injury history is why we have a historically horrid run defense. I understand that Garrett is a stud 5 star player but In a team sport like football I'd rather have 3 4 star players than one 5 star player. The only position in football where a five star player can win games for you and disguise a lot of other weakness' is At QB.

i like it but no way in hell we spend that much money in one offseason, even if it isnt baalke at GM. also thats alot of money to players that are either at the halfway point or past in their career.
