John Ross WR Washington

A hand time for Bo Jackson is not the same thing as an electronic time at the combine for John Ross. Yes there was probably an error in the hand timing for Bo Jackson as others suggested.

But the Ross time is electronic and an official combine time. The time is real.

With that hamstring he is probably 6.55 40 now.

Lol. He is too fast the end then he got hamstring. SMH. It is embarrassing it. I guess. He is probably 4.48. I know he got fast at 4.22 after get hurt his hamstring. Lol.
Garcon, Ross, Kerley would be a decent receiver corp. it would hit all the aspects of the passing game you need to keep a defense guessing. possession guy, shifty slot guy and a non-ignorable deep threat. Ross is going to be what Antonio brown is maybe even OBJ. even if he only does what DJax does, I really don't think we should pass him up considering what he could do for an offensive scheme. when in doubt, chuck it deep.
I just watched his 2016 highlights on Youtube. Impressive. He also comes across as intelligent in his interviews.

No questions about his talent. It's the injuries.

Didn't we just bring in the fast WR in the NFL in Goodwin? I like Ross think he could be a stud but you're not drafting him at two. I'd much prefer Corey Davis

Not quite the same. Ross as number 1 receiver talent. Goodwin is just depth. The issue is the injuries. But even if he were completely healthy, I agree, you are not drafting him at number 2 overall.

Hurt prior to combine, hurt at combine (hammy). Baalke ain't here anymore...
Ellington 2.0

You're on drugs if you see these two as the same player. If Ross ran a 4.4 he's still most Likely a first rounder because of his route running and creativity, hands, and yac.

With the fact being that he will be the fastest player on the field every play the defense will have to adjust their formation every play because you can't put a safety or a slow corner on him. Shannahan could create miss matches all over the field because of that. Sometimes they'll have to choose which player they want to have a mismatch like a small guy on Vance or a bad cover safety on Garcon or Ross.

I don't have a clue what your Ellington comparison is founded on other than similar height.

The comparison is this: they are both ALWAYS INJURED!

Comparison over.

Dude's a legit baller and real tough. I wouldn't mind if he was there after the 2nd round (another team will probably take a chance early tho).

If we ignore the injuries and snag him early, that's an indication that no matter what, Baalke's curse lives within us

Articles about him show a player who wants to perfect his craft. I hope he's there with our 2nd rounder.

What if Shanny gets (offense) happy and snags Davis or Williams with the first, then (if still there in the second rd) he snags Ross as well... in the past we took to Iupati / Davis back 2 back and it worked out for a while

I very much doubt that's the case bc of all the holes needed on this team but honestly I feel good about this new regime and I'd be excited for whoever comes in at QB if he had weapons like that coming in, plus whoever they take I can't do anything like you can't lol so we have to deal with it and hope the best..

Yup I agree

This guys is too fast for his body's own good...
