2017 off-season and draft

Infusion of talent, but qb depth chart is still garbage.
If we go into next season with that QB talent I may actually stop watching the team because this year is one thing because the talent wasn't there when we were picking but this class definitely has some studs and to not draft QB til the 6th round(even though I think Davis goes higher)

And Pats aren't letting their best defensive player go so you can take that off your list.
Tom Savage, Mike Glennon and Davis Webb after using $ 50 million in cap space and all our draft picks? Sorry, but that ain't going to do it long term.
no way can we roll into the season with Tom Savage/Glennon as our starter...neither are a fit for Chip's offense at all SF fans head's would explode lol.

I'd rather move up for a QB and get a WR in FA instead of spend a ton on Gilmore (we are stupid young at CB).

Also I think the reason Jones was let go was so they could pay Collins (just a thought).

I like your extensions and cuts....a lot can happen.
I don't think there's a chance Gilmore or Collins gets to free agency. Cutting Brooks? Sadly he is one of our best players.

This. Screw these half measures when trying to fill the most important position in football. Houston had Tom Savage and still threw big money at Osweiler. Tampa had Glennon and still dropped a#1 pick on Winston.

Stop collecting scrubs and average QBs.

yeah I was wrong about Brooks, but he still throws out some bone head penalties and I still don't see the constant pass rush needed from our OLB...the issue is money he's gonna make almost $9 million next yr and if we cut him we have only $800K in dead money. I'd rather go younger at OLB with Melvin Ingram, C Jones (which I doubt we can get), or Nick Perry.

This off season is one of the biggest we've had in some time IMO.

Yup...so done with getting scrubs and hoping they turn the corner. Let chip get his man.

Let's move on from all the NT's on the roster right now, that goes for Ian Williams too, kid just can't stay healthy. I wanna see a monster in the middle and I don't necessarily mean a blob, but maybe someone like Ryan Glasgow 6'4" 300 pounds who can push the pocket and has a nonstop motor.

Completely agree.
Don't know what has to be done but we need to acquire one of the top 2 qb's.
With a stud qb we will see that we have very serviceable wr's. We also need a TE that can catch and knows the blocking angles. A pure NT would make a world of difference, move on from the garbage we have. There are some good ILB's that can had in the middle rounds. A RG and C would be nice (it's just a start)

Really like Glasgow. Draft him and sign Bennie Logan and you're set at NT. Glasgow offers versatility as he can stay as a DE as well.
