So, I was thinking we trade with either Giants or Tennessee. With Tennessee, we might be able to get second round pick from them for a swap of firsts, and they want Stanley.

If it's one spot, I'd seriously consider trading up with the Ravens. We have ties there with Baalke and Newsome. If not, Stanley is your pick as we have ZERO depth behind Staley and Brown and Brown is no guarantee. The last time we banked on that mindset we ended up having to start Pears at T. Let's learn from our mistakes!

Otherwise, we're in prime position to take a minor trade back. At #7, it's not too high where teams wouldn't even try to trade up b/c it would cost an entire draft (see Rams at #7).

I think Baalke, along with CK and Anthony Davis, is going to have lots of things cooking in the pot at #7 which is why this year, it truly is the hardest to predict. Who knows, Wilkerson could be in the fold as well.

There's like 8 T rated to go in the first 2 rounds. No way Trent trades up to draft a T.

Stanley and Conklin are pretty evenly matched at the 2nd and 3rd rated T spots. Conklin did the 3 cone drill and shuttle faster with a higher vert. than Stanley.

I only said consider trading up to Buckner.

As to Stanley, he is regarded as the clear 2nd best T but also b/c he can play RT or LT. Conklin, mostly RT only although, like in Pheonix's mock, could be a very good choice as well. But if you are feeling great about Brown's "arrow up" and his ability to play in a ZBS, I could see taking a T later to push Brown and develop over a year for insurance too.

ah ok. if he could land Buckner and one of the top 10 OL in the 2nd that would be a fine start IMO.

My fear is Trent will get too cute like he always does and screw it all up.

I don't know why people think Bosa can't play OLB. He can stop the run and rush the passer from that spot just like he can at DE!

My dream scenario is Goff, Doctson, Ogbah.

All three would have to slide for that to happen. Doesn't make it impossible though. The draft is never predictable. Goff could be there at 7, Doctson (as well as just about every other WR in this draft) might not be seen as first round caliber, and Ogbah is behind a bunch of other pass rushers that will likely go to the teams that are drafting that position early.

I don't think people are worried about his run stopping and pass rushing ability. I think most people are worried about his coverage ability and playing standing up as an OLB.

Lol, Ogbah would have to slide to make it to our 2nd round pick. He will not be there in the 3rd. Way too impressive of an athlete even though the production isn't there yet. He'd have to get caught with drugs or have multiple DUI's. It's more likely that Spence falls to the 3rd for red flags, but neither one is likely. We'll be lucky to get a decent pass rusher in the 2nd.

Ist Round Springs OL or Decker OL (20th pick)
2nd Round Coleman WR or MThomas WR (37th pick)

Without a trade
Buckner DL or Bossa DL (7th pick)
Coleman WR or MThomasWR (37th pick)
Garnett OL or Tuerk OL (68 pick)
