Houston Texans select:
Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama

JJ Watt gets some help opposite him and improve run defense
**** Washington Redskins are OTC and OPEN!

Anyone want to inherit them?

Jags and Chiefs are open as well
Redskins addressed DT in round 1. They have needs at WR, OC, and in the secondary. Ole 49er CB Chris Culliver won't be ready for camp. The need at WR may surprise but with Both Jackson and Garçon approaching 30 it makes sense. I could see a player like WR Braxton Miller making sense. No rush to start but could be used in 3 and 4 WR sets and continue to develop. Late 2 early 3 is where he's projected and no WR available has his upside.... I don't see a day 1 starting CB left on the board. The best Center Ryan Kelly is gone and not sure any available wouldn't be a reach. Just my $.02

Kyle Friend from temple is a center with a lot of potential

6'2 305lbs ideal measurables and bench pressed a 41.

if C is the way to go the pick should be nick Martin

Hes very pro ready and already a great pass blocker biggest weakness is needs to add strength to improve run blocking but all around he is 2nd best C behind kelly
Agree Martin is #2 center. I've got him as a 3-4 round guy tho

i think theres a lot of decent C in draft martin is clear cut ahead of rest as kelly is clear cut the best

i think the pick should be WR this eound and get a C next round or later - martin, glaskow tuerk allen etc

Wow! I can't believe he lasted that long. Talk about slipping through the cracks.

Why I posted a set of rankings. Easy to miss a guy or two in this setting
Michael Thomas, Braxton Miller, Tyler Boyd

Seem to be the best WRs available

Yeah I had to look like 3 times to make sure he wasn't picked up, I love the DL talent in this draft!

I agree that Center can be had later, but WR talent is going to start to disappear between now and their next pick.

Boyd is BPA as a complete WR and Miller is the more flashy speed guy... my pick would be Boyd.
