I've had a draft crush on this prospect ever since I included him in my mock for this years draft (2015) and he didn't declare He has been in some mocks on these forums since then so I figured maybe its time for his thread! He currently plays for Louisville (xferring from TCU) and has had 3 sacks over the last two games. I think he would make a great pass rushing OLB in our 3-4 Coming in at around 6-4 255lbs this guy has been described as, "A player with the potential to be the top NFL prospect out of TCU since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2001, Fields burst onto the college scene as a true freshman, leading the team with 18.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. He earned Conference Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors" However, that was before his domestic abuse incident, since being dismissed from the TCU program Fields has completed some anger managment classes and has been cleared to play. Highlight tape If it weren't for the incidents this kid has been involved in, I have no doubt he would be a top 10 pick.

There are varying levels of crazy and instability. It could be that Fields is on the wrong side of that equation. Teams arent overlooking him, its likely that nobody thinks he is anywhere close to being the hassle to even bring in for a tryout.

I was impressed with this guy every time I watched Louisville.......didn't know he was a lame brain / knuckle head /numb skull.

I wonder how bad he could possibly be to have not gotten signed yet..... I think we. Should roll the dice on him and see how things shake out. What do you guys think?

I'm not sure I would
If this guy wants to find his way into the NFL it looks like he is going to have to do it by joining a Canadian team or Europe team. There had to have been some MAJOR red flags in his interviews, I'm almost willing to bet he would be in a better spot that he is in now if he just didn't show up to any.

If he can stay "sane" and play in another league for awhile, I would take a chance on him

I would, low risk high reward chance. The LEO spot is waiting for him. Hopefully him not getting picked up got the message loud and clear to him. If not, well it's no different than KD Cannon getting the boot.
