His first pass that actually hit the turf came on pass 44 of 65. Pretty incredible

Hang on fellas... don't let this WONDERFUL workout blind all you guys here..

Mayock once called Jamarcus Russell's workout the "greatest" he's seen.. and look what happened to him..

Alex Smith hit 87 of 88 of his passes and drew a standing ovation..

Sometimes I wish QB's personal workout consist of 3 WRs, and 4 DBs and allow him to read and react.

I'm not blinded by the workout. For me it's just one more thing in a long line of things pointing to him being the best QB prospect in the draft

This ^ just backups up everything else I've seen.

Yeah, I prefer Goff, but wouldn't be mad with Wentz.
Checked the box again. Threw the ball extremely well, moves extremely well, has excellent velocity. The only blip was a couple balls deep that were just off the fingertips, and two throws with a doused ball that were off-target. I don't think he was ready for that curveball, because nobody questions his hand size.

He is the class of this QB class, and a cut above Goff. Wentz will go first or second. Unless he drives a pickup over some nuns, he is a lock at 1 or 2.

Off the field, he has been called a stud in one-on-one meetings, a football junkie, and a great leader, and a winner. He has the "it" factor over the competition.

If this happens he'll go 4 to the Cowboys

Totally agree with all of this.

I'm starting to think that the Browns are going to take a defensive player, so if this happens where would the 49ers have to move up in the round to get him?

I don't think we'd need to move at all, we can just sit and one of them will fall to us at #7.

Browns will take Wentz unless a team trades up for him at 1

Wentz at 2 and I think Philly or LA moves up to get someone at either 3 or 4

Philly doesnt have a 2nd rounder, theyll have a hard time moving up without blowing up the rest of their draft. The Rams pick 15th and there are going to be teams that wont want to move down that far and miss out on all the top prospects.
If the Browns want to take Wentz and let Goff fall to us I'm just fine with it.

I'll gladly take the safer pick in Goff.
