Did you realize we are paying Juszczyk $5.25 mil a year, more than double of that of the next highest paid FB in the league? And the guy has only carried the ball 7 times for 25 yards in 4 seasons? LOL.

Juszczyk is more like Bruce Miller in the sense that he's not a traditional running back style of FB. Bruce only had 77 total yards rushing in five years with the Niners. Contrast that with Tom Rathman who had 400+ yards one season with the Niners. William Floyd rushed for 959 yards in four seasons with the Niners.

Back to Fournette, I think that Shanahan is going to value him more than some of the posters on this forum. I do think that he will be the pick if they stay at #2 and they don't take a quarterback. BPA. Impact player.

Agreed on the move down part but as long as Buckner plays the 5 tech Soloman is a square peg in a round hole. We need a Leo or a Sam someone like Beasley but it's not there.

actually I watched like 5 games on draftbreakdown.com and he showed great cut back ability and was especially successful in outside zone runs..

maybe u haven't watched or are just trying to be a contrarian for the hell of it

No I know a pure edge rusher with speed is a top need but this kid can play all over that line you can throw him in as a 3-tech as well or have him bulk up and become a Aaron Donald type DT.

I hope we trade down and go after Corey Davis and move up for a Harris type of pass rusher...maybe someone falls for LF and a qb and we can gain some picks.

Nope I've watched him since the media had a hard on over him coming out of highscool...totally disagree on the cut back ability. I'm not trying to be a contrarian just stating what I've seen and what draft evaualtors have said.

Do you know what a contrarian is? It's somebody that goes against popular opinion. So far in the bpa poll, only 14 percent of voters believe Fournette is the bpa at 2.

That's not true. I've ran across a handful of boards that had him at 2. Most had Allen at number 2. A lot of Marshon. And most are starting to have Thomas after his strong combine.

But that gets into the reason I wouldn't want Allen. With Armstead and Buckner we got our horses at 3/5. I like Thomas and think he would be a great for Jax but we just need some edge rushers. Thomas can do it to an extent but at 2 you need natural fits and I guess that eliminates LF too since he's not a zone rb.
