2016 WR Prospects

20 seconds into watching Josh Doctson highlights I thought Devante Parker. I'm intrigued by trading down if stanley and goff are gone and picking up an extra 2nd or 3rd and still having a handful of guys worth taking. Part of me says go Treadwell we have to keep investing in WR until we find good ones but until we find the right passing coach with the right qb aren't we going to keep wasting picks and free agency money on wr's?

There's a kid from Baylor who will end up being the best WR from this year's draft.. we can keep it on a down low and take him in the 2nd round.. or, we can also draft Braxton Miller (ex-QB; Ohio State) late in the 3rd because he WILL BE the next Anquan Boldin. ..

My nephew plays for Rutgers so I've watched all of their games and I think #4 Leonte Caroo would be a nice pickup. Dude is a playmaker, clutch, attacks the ball scores TDs.

Corey Coleman? He's not on the down low and when he blows up the combine he will be a lock in the 1st

Watch some Michael Thomas(Keyshawn's nephew). I'm a huge fan of his. Would rather that they trade down a bit and take him if they are going to draft a WR.

Watch some Michael Thomas(Keyshawn's nephew). I'm a huge fan of his. Would rather that they trade down a bit and take him if they are going to draft a WR.

What about his speed? Does he have enough to threaten deep?

He's more of a possession receiver, but a very good one, worthy of a 1st round pick. Strong hands, great at attacking the ball in the air, 6'3" and 210 pounds, decent speed, outstanding route runner and I think he does a better job creating separation than a guy like Treadwell. He's drawn comparisons to his uncle.

Based on previous comments, it would probably require a trade back into the later part of round 1 to get him? He seems like a good compliment to Smith

Phoenix, it's hard studying highlights as you know but looking at those videos you gave me my first thought is I see a little bit of Odell Beckham there... slower, bigger, not as shifty, poor mans beckham. I do like the jump balls in the end zone, he goes up and gets them. I'm surprised to see he only has 4 drops I see a lot of basket catches on there and a lot of body catching but at the same time a lot of nice catches with him going up and getting the ball.

The guy is good, but I have him a solid 2nd because of his speed. . it would not be bad idea to trade down a bit during round 2, and then draft this kid.. also, he's route running isn't super polish yet..

We have a lot of picks especially with some good comps and could add more with Kap, Bethea and possibly Brooks (one can dream for him at his salary) but we could lose some due to Payton. Anyways, we need quality over quantity but at the same time if Stanley, Bosa, Tunsil, Goff are gone in the 1st I would seriously consider trading down and picking up another 2nd or 3rd and change. Still get a very good prospect at say 10-15, seems this draft isn't really top heavy but the 2nd round should be loaded. It would be nice if we could use say our 4th and 2 5ths to try to get another 3rd. Kind of hoping for some trading up and quality over quantity this draft because the last few quantity drafts havent worked out although they looked great at the time. Especially if we are getting a win now coach like Payton.

His speed isn't bad, he's not slow by any means, he's just not your Torrey Smith type. I'd say he's probably the best route runner out of the early WR's that are available, that is definitely one of his strengths. He was maybe a 2nd round guy when the season began, I see him as firmly entrenched as a 1st rounder now.
