there were a couple of NFL scouts and talking Heads that said from what they saw on film and in person that D Grant would struggle against NFL talent WRs, so I ok with passing on Grant

you gotta wonder about D Parker and why 2 teams ahead of Miami passed on Him ,cleveland said he was to soft,Minnesota seemed like a good fit considering that Bridgewater is their QB and played with Parker in college,But we will see how he fares in Miami, btw I`m glad we did not move up to get Himmalot of you later on would have been disappointed, beside Smelter is the Better all-around receiver.

CARL DAVIS...
Carl Davis.
I had no draft crush. But I was looking for something on the offense. Last year, Baalke got S.Johnson on draft day. While many lauded Baalke for this, I pointed out that it didn't make the team better. He wasn't good enough or different enough to replace either Crabtree or Boldin. This year Baalke didn't re-sign Johnson. Despite the AJ Jenkins failure, I would have trusted Baalke's judgement on a 1st round WR. If the team is going to run, then a high round OL or RB. Any injuries on offense and ... well, you get the idea.

If SJ was lined up, he was productive most of the time contrary to Crabs. It was a good signing.
He was cut due to high salary. Although his contract with the Chargers seems to be a cheap one, Baalke thought that it is a too high number for a #3-WR, imho.
I was hoping for Eddie Goldman and Henry Anderson

I was hoping for Strong.
IMO its pretty disappointing we didn't improve our WRs. We had a great chance to take Jaelen Strong in the 2nd.

Smelter, is he even going to play this year? So we have an aging Boldin, Torry Smith and who?!? Patton has 6 catches in 2 years and Ellington had only 6 catches his rookie year. We could have had Jordan Matthews, Allen Robinson, Jarvin Landry, Terrence Williams, Keenan Allen etc. We are at 3 straight drafts that had good crops of WRs and Baalke has opted to wait and pick non-contributory players when its a position of need.

Yeah yeah, we drafted Smelter. We're not going to see him on the field this year, and its doubtful if we ever will.

I like strong a lot but as actual evidence suggests strong would have been a reach in the 2nd round. Also any wr drafted this draft would have had a minimal role this year torn ACL or not. And The part I bolded is just

Not gonna lie I wanted Strong in the 2nd.

This X INFINITY!!! I like Jalen's Strong's Game and I think it translate well into the NFL 6'2 5/8 and 217lbs good size good at catching in traffic. I would much rather had Jalen Strong in the 2nd then that Tartt dude. Jalen by year 2 when Quan leaves woulda been ready to step right in. I just didn't get it. I dont know what Balke sees sometimes as far as team needs go. Doesnt Balke wanna win or is his EGO that big that he keeps getting CUTE and Outsmarting himself too busy trying to Outsmart everyone else.
Marcus Hardison DE in the 4th round. Never figured he get that far.

Strong, Carl Davis but most of all when the 49er were on the clock Laconfora said that 49ers were hight on Kevin Johnson and Arik Armstead so I wanted Johnson and was not high on Armstead.
Davis Tull ILB

The 49ers wanted in rd 5, but he went 3 picks before them, so they traded back and picked a punter instead! He will be a good ILB
