NT hasn't been the problem other than health, both Dorsey and Williams have played very very well, better than Soap anyways. I do think they need a young player to develop there.

Same. We'll see. Never can have too many draft picks. Looking forward to having intense competition this year at TC and now with us expected to get 11 players in this haul, the chances someone works out just keep increasing.

Walsh didn't run the 1st... he got ahead early with short high% passes and then ran the ball to finish the game ... AKA the west coast offense.

Wasn't the reason we parted ways with Harbs? because he wasn't following the plan.

We got made up excuses for moving on from harbaugh.

If you look at the standard draft value chart, that is pretty much what it ends up being to drop back about 15 spots from the middle of the 4th, a mid to late 7th rounder.

Agreed. But health is a legitimate concern. Is it always, at every position? Of course. It's proven to be an issue at NT though

Unless he uses that 7th to get back in the 5th. If not, terrible trade.

How so? In terms of points, it's ether equal or we come out ahead. What makes the trade terrible? At this point, all of the picks are subjective and it's really based on who you like.

I would've liked a DE/NT and Eddie Goldman was my guy at 15 for a few months, if not him Malcolm Brown. I don't see any DT that are going to make the difference I would like to see (stopping Marshawn Lynch's inside runs) or even an ILB. I have no issue with more picks. If anything, i'd prefer a 6th and the Colts 2016 4th round pick (rolling picks into next year is always good).

more simply:
7th-round=guys you REALLY want to try out in TC without being afraid that they could sign with a different team in the FA.

Hundley must be stoked. Great landing spot for him. I think Petty will compete with Geno for Jets starter right away.

14 spots in order to jump from the mid-end to the middle of the FOURTH round.

This. You go and get the guys that you would try and sign as UDFA's, bring them in and see what sticks.
