Sometimes a player is so good you just can't pass on him even if you don't have a need at that position. I'm not saying Gurley is that guy, but if he is you don't let Kendal Hunter & Reggie Bush & Carlos Hyde stop you from drafting him.

On a related note the G-Men have said that they would not shy from taking a WR at 9 if he is the BPA despite having ODBJ and Cruz. Reese is a firm believer in the BPA philosophy, and I would not hate the selection of Gurley, if Baalke has him pegged as the BPA.
