Looks good to me, I'm pretty sure all of us want to see some size at the WR position but other than that, looks good
I really wouldn't complain as Goldman is one of my draft crushes this year.

And Perryman would also be a solid pick

Crowder is good BUT I'm hoping for better,

Also love Goldman and perryman. Like you, also hoping for a better WR and RB than ones listed here.
Eddie Goldman would be a great pick...not glamorous, as many fans want to see Baalke trade-up to get Cooper or whomever. That's not what Baalke will do, I can assure everyone. There are multiple needs, largely because so many vets left. Goldman's a beast, exactly what our DL needs. He'll do what Justin Smith's done...tie up at least 2 OL on just about every play. He's one powerful dude...and would restore a nasty attitude on our DL.

I'm not that high on Perryman...he's short (5-11) and somewhat limited in his abilities. NFL.com draft profiles says this: "Early down linebacker who can make plays against the run but will struggle if isolated in coverage. Perryman is a lunch-pail worker who enjoys the physical part of the game. Can be a highly productive NFL player but ceiling looks to be limited". I think Anthony's arguably the most well-rounded ILB.

As for D'joun Smith, he's only 5-10...but is a competitor. NFL.com draft profile BL on him is: "Smith possesses above average ball skills and instincts, but questions about his ability to keep up with vertical speed could push his draft stock down a little bit. Smith's cleanest fit might be in a Cover 2 scheme, but he has starting talent".
I'm thinking Baalke wants a bigger, physical CB, but we'll see.

Crowder...seems we have enough guys who can play the slot/return kicks. I'd bet Baalke drafts a much bigger WR...Boldin's in his contract year, Crabtree's not coming back, and he's already added considerable speed to the WR corps.

Love the Tyrus Thompson pick...agree with everything you said about him.

With all the CB's on the roster, I'd say Jimmie Ward will get a lot more time at S this season...so I don't see it as a big need. No harm in taking one so long as the bigger needs are satisfied.

Like the RB Malcolm Brown pick...he'd give Tomsula another thumper and balance out the RB corps very well.

7th rd is way too late to take a TE...Vernon's in his contract season and "his brand" could well price him out of re-signing w/Niners. I think Baalke's got his eye on TE Walford from Miami. Don't be shocked if he's his #2 pick.

Also had the same thought about Baalke taking Walford in the 2nd.

I don't think Goldman or any other dt or de will start over tank dial dockett Ian williams or dorsey. So if I'm right, wasted pick. 1st rounders have to start day one. Dl is actually our deepest group... why first round for the deepest group?

We do have a pretty deep DL group but how many of those players are coming off injury? Ian Williams has been between ok and decent for the 49ers. He's also been battling injuries regularly. Dorsey is aging and has also been battling with injury, however he has been very effective when healthy. Dockett is a BEAST, but i doubt he'll be 100% right out of the gate after his torn ACL. I do however really like Dial, if he can keep improving he'll be a huge asset in the future. No ones taking Tanks spot.
Eddie Goldman would be a solid get in the 1st round in my book. He has the talent to go in the 1st round and the potential to be a steal.

I agree that there is a very strong possibility of taking Walford in the 2nd round. Vernon will most likely be gone next season, Vance hasn't shown much of anything. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out come draft day.

I would not be mad whatsoever if we got Walford in the 2nd round.

As for Perryman in the 2nd. . . . . to be honest i'm not very fond of any ILB in this draft. His physical play is what sold it for me tho. However i do agree he might be a liability when dropping down into coverage. But this is a position of need and his addition would help solidify the run defense.

I don't think RB is that big of a need. Hyde, Hunter and Bush should be enough. Using a higher draft pick doesn't make sense to me.
Love the Goldman pick as well as getting Marcus Rush. Rush killed his pro day running a 4.69 40 along with a 34" vertical. I honestly think he compares well with Dan Skuta. He can step in on special teams right away.

Not a big fan of Perryman, I'd rather just wait to get an ILB in the middle rounds.

Can definitely see the Dan Skuta comparison with Marcus Rush, would also be a solid addition to the ST unit.

I'd also be fine with taking an ILB in the middle rounds, we all know there no next P.Willis in this group, I like Perryman the most out of the ILB but picking someone else in the 2nd round would be fine with me.
