I watched the game tape on Parker that is on draftbreakdown and he did not get used a lot as a red zone threat, though he seems to have the right body type for it. Funchess looked like a better red zone target without the 1st round price tagOriginally posted by NYniner85:Well if one of the top pass rushers fall to us that should be the pick!
- I'd love to see Shelton in a Niner jersey, can you imagine Shelton,Dockett,J Smith (or Tank),A Smith,Lynch coming after you

- If they are all gone hopefully Parker drops and we will be set at WR for the future! He would rock the red-zone and kill CBs with his length (Alshon Jeffer[/b]y style[/b])
- I would be happy with top CB or OL (not really happy though lol) fell to us as well.

I like Gurley as well but how's his ACL?
Come on, guys. Are you serious? Todd Gurley? Another ACL patient.

Of those on that list:
1. Beasley
2. Ray
3. Waynes
Hard to pick between Ray and Beasley. I think Wayne's is the only one with an actual chance of being there (or falling out of the top 10).
Of the bottom group, I'd be happy with any of them, but I'd rank DGB and Gurley at the bottom of the group.

Well you could also look at his highlights online and see all his re-zone tds
He has a 80 inch wingspan and is great at catching balls at it's high point.

I just watched his highlight fI did not know Parker broke his foot last year only played in six games. Still had 855 yds. 5Td's that is impressiveOriginally posted by NYniner85:Originally posted by Andra:I watched the game tape on Parker that is on draftbreakdown and he did not get used a lot as a red zone threat, though he seems to have the right body type for it. Yup with a horrible QB while being the only real threat on offense....

I would take Trae Waynes or Danny Shelton in a second if they were still there at #15 (but they probably won't be.)
Waynes has size and speed. Shelton is just the kind of wide-bodied 2-gap NT that Mangini likes on the line.
I think this draft is going to be all about defense.

Trade down into the 20's and take either Peters or Darby. get an extra 2nd/3rd Rd pick, Niners need that.

The group listed is impressive. I'm thinking there will be a number of inquires when we're on the clock. Moving down in the first could give us another second or third round pick and still have plenty of talent available. If we stay at 15 I would be jumping for joy if we took Shelton.

Shelton's chances of being there at #15 are less than 50 %, besides, Baalke isn't going to invest a 1st Rd pick on a NT, unless he's in Wolfork class, which Shelton is not.

Wolfork went with the 21st pick in the 2004 draft. We had pick 16 and traded it away for the 31st pick who was...............Rashaun Woods.
