Even though we haven't heard officially that Justin Smith's retiring, Baalke has to plan for him being gone. That's why I believe he'll go big DL. Goldman, Malcolm Brown...either would be very good picks. I love Parker, but I just don't see TB going WR that early.
I'm not sure Byron Jones would be his 2nd rd CB pick...possibly so, but for some reason, that player doesn't resonate with me. I could see Marcus Peters, PJ Williams or Quenton Rollins.
Mario Edwards is a good pick...but Perryman's not what we need at ILB...Stephone Anthony is. Rationale is Anthony's got great size, speed and does more things well than his competitors. He already covers receivers well...just believe he's better suited for a 3-4 defense.
I like that you went heavy w/DL and OL...but Langford's not a thumper. Adding him to Hyde, Hunter and Bush would mean Carlos would be the only real between the tackles RB. I'd think a bigger RB would create more balance and could help wear defenses down better.
Love the Weganmann pick late...dude reminds me of Skuta, a blue-collar type of player.
I can see Baalke trading down in the 1st and taking Peters rather than going WR. I'm all for waiting to Rd3 for WR and drafting Dezmin Lewis. Agree on Anthony being a better fit, though still love Perryman's game and leadership. A better RB fit than Langford to me would be Zach Zenner as a late pick.
if they do go WR I hope they don't wait until later rds we've done that enough the past couple years. I don't think Zenner is even close to better than Langford. Value is to good in the 4th for him.

talent is talent and Langford has it.
