Rd 2..ILB out of Clemson..Stephone Anthony..an athletic freak who will rotate with wilhoite until he beats him out.. Rd 2..CB out of FSU..PJ Williams..I think he will fall to the late 2nd..his teammate Darby is on fire right now.. Rd 3..DE out or FSU..Mario Edwards..a future 49ers/Seminole DE combo in Carradine and Edwards..? Rd 4..OL out of Texas A&M..Cedric Ogbuehi..redshirt like Thomas last year..I like our oline even without Iupati..health is the key.. Rd 4..RB out of FSU..Karlos Williams..another Seminole..yesss..young athletic strong fast rb who can run between the tackles or bounce it outside..I love hunter but injuries hate him.. Rd 5..TE out of Oklahoma..Blake Bell..big athletic sleeper who will surprise.. Rd 6..ILB out of Georgia..Amaro Herrera..athletic kid who will challenge moody for the 4th ILB spot and special teams play.. Rd 7..OLB out of West Virginia..Shaquille Riddick..long athletic baalke type of pass rusher.:challenge Lemonier for 4th OLB spot.. Rd 7..WR out of Washington..Kasen Williams..tall strong good hands possession receiver who was predicted as a 1st rd talent but injuries hurt him 2 yrs in a row..worth the risk..

That's the tricky part about doing mocks. You can do a great one if you assume all this talent will fall exactly to your slots...but that's not being very realistic. IMO, the real (and unspoken) challenge of a mock draft is to assume all the great/highly ranked players you want WON'T be there when you pick next (sort of like it happens in real life), yet still find a way to get value for your team as the draft goes on.

It is the team's fault if they pick him and know that he is a head case. If players get into trouble, what good is the pick with all that talent, but yet gets suspended and can't play. Only if you check and be assured like Bowman, but it is hard enough with clean players. People act stupid when they get rich.

Very true and my main thing is if the niners draft a troubled player and they give you the chance to change your life and create an amazing life for you and your family then you would think the player would clean up and take advantage of the blessing that has been handed to them..I mean seriously how hard is it to not do drugs and drink and drive and get in trouble to earn millions..1st of all in the nfl or not you shouldn't be doing any..

That's why I said it's not the franchises fault..they gave them a chance and the player didn't take it and run..

Jersey...I really like your latest mock. You hit on the biggest needs with good players. I'm not as sold on Karlos Williams as some...but, on the other hand, he'd give us two thumpers and two speedsters, so that's a very nice balance. Based on the overall mock, I'll go along with him. Yours is one of the best mocks I've read all off-season, dude. As for taking 3 FSU guys, I have no problem with it, whatsoever...that team was loaded with guys who really look NFL ready.

Green-Beckham struggles against physical cornerbacks, and is raw as a route runner with poor instincts when it comes to getting open. I think we should draft the most pro-ready receiver that will fall to our pick: Jaelen Strong. This is probably going to be Anquan Boldins last year and we need another one like him. Strong looks like a faster version of Boldin. He can run short routes and also catch the home run ball. A true possession receiver.
