Value Chart from Nepatriotsdraft

Okay that's what I thought. So who do you think might be a trade partner? Also what are you thoughts of Jay Ajayi? I really like this kid

Hard to tell Pre-FA and one of the reasons I usually stay away from Trade Projections in February. If we won´t be able to get a 2nd rounder in a trade back scenario give me Langford or Johnson in the 3rd.

I´m a fan of Ajayi.

- Runs aggresive
- Shows patience to let blocks develop
- Nice spin move,
- Terrific stop-start ability
- A weapon in the passing game
- Reports describe him as a driven individual and respected teammate

4th Round Selection OL Ali Marpet 6-4 307 Hobart College

NFL Draft Prospect Video

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine-total-access/0ap3000000472350/On-the-Clock-Ali-Marpet

NFL

- Good foot quickness
- Quick out of stance and into defender
- Usually the low man using hips and arm extension to lock out and control his man
- Consistent with hand placement in run and pass
- Has the body type and movement skills for a ZBS
- Technically sound for an Division III Player and has athleticism to become an NFL starter

Terrific small school prospect who has all the traits to thrive in a ZBS.
I'm going to be a very sad guy if the 49ers decide that Devin Smith is the answer to our WR problems.

4th Round Selection WR DeAndre Smelter 6-2 222 Georgia Tech - Comp Pick -

NFL

- Former baseball player with outstanding hand-eye coordination
- Excellent in every sport he has played
- Natural instincts and football intelligence
- Wins when ball is in the air with physicality, body control, well-timed leaps and strong hands
- Able to create separation underneath by pushing cornerbacks with good route speed
- Talented after the catch

Here Is What I Wrote In His Thread

Smelter is someone you pick in the 4th round because of his ACL injury (2nd round talent) and stash on IR for a year.

- Fluid release at the los
- Controlled footwork
- Explodes in and out of his breaks
- Fantastic hand-eye coordination
- Catches the ball at the highest point
- Is able to adjust to throws
- Very rarely drops a pass
- Can get separation on vertical routes
- Plays very physical
- Vicious blocker
- Respected for his work ethic and leadership

Not asked to run a full route tree in Johnsons scheme but shouldnt have an issue running any route in the NFL.

I particularly liked it b/c it's a Baalke-like approach to the draft. In fact, I love it!
Excellent Mock DeUh!

NOT a fan of Devin Smith at WR

6th Round Selection OL Chaz Green 6-5 300 Florida

NFL

- Plays with open eyes and desired football intelligence
- Has a feel for stunts, twists and blitzes and can pick them up
- Shows initial quickness to get to tough reach blocks and climbs smoothly to second-level blocks
- Good footwork and overall pass-protection technique on his initial pass sets.
- Left and right tackle at Florida
- Foot quickness and movement skill will appeal to zone-scheme teams

CBS

- Displays excellent movement skills for his size
- Shows strong hands to control defenders at the point of attack
- Terrific anticipation to pick up extra rushers with quick eyes to pass off targets and pick up blitzers.
- Excellent patience, discipline and spatial awareness, displaying a strong understanding of everything going on around him
- Doesn't receive a lot of ink and probably won't get drafted as high as he should but he will be on a NFL roster a year from now

Injury History

- Suffered a major injury in 2013, tearing a labrum in August that caused him to miss the entire season. Also missed games due to injury in 2012 and 2011.

Almost went off on Davis at 15, but then I saw that you traded back, which I assume into the mid-20's in the 1st, which is a good pick up.

After seeing that, you're draft would be awesome! I'm a big Armstead fan, but after the combine and seeing more videos of the DL prospects, I find Davis to be a killer prospect and could be the transition player for Cowboy we've been looking for. As much as I like Tank, he plays more like RayMac did in our system, leaving the huge role that Cowboy did for Aldon Smith's success. Davis can fill that role and get Aldon back to his QB-terrorizing role in our defense.

The Indiana RB I don't know much about, but he seems to be getting high marks all around both online and with TV analysts. I like Langford personally (and have a draft crush on Duke Johnson), but if Coleman is the HR threat ppl say he is, then it should be a no-brainer based on size/speed/health history over the other two options. I also love the Ifo Ekpre-Olomu pick, he'll be our "steal" if we get him in the 4th.

With Chaz Green and Ali Marpet, you provide depth and a good swing tackle fix (although Marpet I think will need time to adjust more than anticipated with). And the Smelter pick could become a killer pick up with his athleticism, but will take time for route development (one HUGE positive for him is that he's a spectacular run blocker, which in our offense is a requirement).

My only knock on this draft is Devin Smith. I can't complain about it if we get him in the mid-2nd, but is he just going to be running seam routes every time he plays? His speed was found wanting at the Combine, but his pro-day will have to be his saving grace. Only change I'd prefer is if you get the trade, the players in the 2nd could be switched, either keep Coleman or Jaelen Strong with first 2nd rounder, and get Duke Johnson/Nelson Agholor with the 2nd pick (depending on who we picked with the first 2nd round pick). Both Strong/agholor shined in career stats and put up same 40's (or better) than Devin's.

Overall, did like it overall and wouldn't complain if it ended up that way

Thanks man. Fantastic write-up.

I took fomer second round pick Brooks Reed Houston Texans in FA. He had 26 hurries, 6 hits and 2 sacks alongside 30 tackles in 2014.

I like the mock a lot. I don't think Ekpre-Olomu will be there in the 3rd round. It looks like he's being projected in the 2nd round most places and even in the first round in some mocks. If he's not there, I hope we take Cedric Ogbuehi and maybe Eric Rowe trading up in the 4th where you had Marpet.

7th Round Selection DL Angelo Blackson 6-4 318 Auburn

NFL

- Plays with strength at the point of attack
- Able to withstand and occupy double teams against the run
- Sure tackler who drives full force of his body into runners and will finish what he starts
- Disciplined rusher within his lane

Mike Mayock

- Struggles as a pass rusher but is stout against the run

Thanks.

ESPN Scout´s Inc currently list Ekpre-Olomu with a 3rd round projection on their board.

- Sinks hips around the corner and uses well-timed rip to challenge the edge.
- Posted high-end production over two seasons at Towson with 32 tackles for loss, 22.5 sacks and five forced fumbles
