Especially not when Baalke should have Goldman and/or Malcolm Brown on the board. Don't be fooled into thinking Goldman's just a NT...he played both DT and DE for FSU. He's a beast as is Brown and either guy could realistically produce from the get-go.
Its not just the talking heads that are high on Armstead though. And of course you spend first round picks on developmental players if you believe they can become cornerstones of your defense. To do otherwise would be completely shortsighted.
This kid is all hype if he had a motor and gave an effort I would totally support it but I dont see it plus DL is NOT a priority Cowboy will be back and we can only hold so many DL on the Roster Tank, TJE, Dial are better than this kid imo

I respectfully disagree, i think d line is a top priority. county is a unknown, i love darnel but he is 33. am glad dorsey is back, aldon is in his last year, at least contract wise,, yes i know we got tank and dial but i really think we go d line in first round, maybe the guy from iowa?

I respect your opinion, its a waiting game now my favorite prospects are Leonard Williams, DGB, Marcus Peters
I feel like he should have stayed in college another year. He got better after he quit playing basketball and put some weight on, but he wasn't a finished product. It is hard to say if he just doesn't have the drive, or simply needs more coaching. If he had just lived up to his potential for one year, I would have felt better about drafting him that high, but since he hasn't, I'm not sold with the 15th pick.
He is not worth a second round pick let alone a mid first round pick. He has good size but nothing else. He is the exact opposite of Borland. Get players who can play not players who look like they can play but don't know how.
