I like that he has Shaq Thompson listed as a safety, thats where I see him playing as well.
Looks pretty solid to me.
The one thing I don't get though is Armstead. I'm a huge duck fan and there is no way I put him in front of Goldman or Phillips.

QB:I like Hundley better than Petty
RB: Not a believer in Abdullah, don't see him as a top 5 RB. I don't understand the lack of love for Jay Ajayi, clearly top 5 RB IMO
WR: I think Amari Cooper is first WR off the board... and I'd bet Jaelen Strong in top 5. I think Funchess is more of a TE in the NFL.
Interior Lineman: I'd put Dismukes in top 5, great potential Center
CB: I'm still a believer in Senquez Golsen, I know 6-foot CBs are the new rage though....

Nothing? The guy has a lot of the same tools Kaepernick had coming out. He's got good size, is solidly built, has good speed, and has a strong arm. He has a lot of stuff to work on, but he's probably going to be taken in the 2nd or 3rd round, because there are a lot of things to like. He's not a great pocket passer yet and needs to get better at going through progressions, but he still put up pretty good stats in the Pac 12.

Hundley shows some potential to be an accurate passer. He needs to become more consistent with his accuracy and ball placement.

Hundley has some clear aspects of his game that he has to improve upon for the NFL in 2014. The junior has to develop his pocket-passing ability and his field vision. Hundley too often locks onto his primary read and doesn't work through progressions. He also has a tendency to take off running or scrambling when his first read is covered. If Hundley can show that he can quickly scan through his receivers and deliver the ball accurately to the right receiver, it could be huge for his draft stock.

If Baalke takes a guy like that, the Arrested Development quote, "He certainly has a type" would be apropos.

He shows Shane Ray 3rd on edge rushers, that would make him available at 15 likely.

I could see Baalke trading down 10 spots to #25 with Carolina and taking Dupree from Kentucky, which would also give him an extra 2nd RD pick, so he can go WR and either DL or RB (don't think Gore will be back) in the 2nd. He could then go either TE or OL with the 3rd RD pick.

It wouldn't actually. Most rankings and mocks have Fowler as the 3rd edge rusher behind Gregory and Ray but still gone by 15. I'd be surprised if any of them are there.

Mayock: WR White goes top 10 with 4.5 forty

NFL Media's Mike Mayock believes West Virginia WR Kevin White will be a top 10 pick if he runs a 4.5 forty or better.


"The only question is his long speed, and there is a huge difference between (White) running 4.58 and 4.48," Mayock said. This might seem simple, but the NFL certainly can buy into this line of thinking. However, we think the best teams do not. The Combine absolutely does matter, but rather than a singular result or event, look at the prospect's entire athletic web.

Mayock: Forty will determine Rollins' future

NFL Media's Mike Mayock believes the forty yard dash will be a large portion of scouts' evaluation of Miami (OH) DB Quinten Rollins.


"It'll be a whole different evaluation for this kid, as a corner or a free safety, all based on what he runs the forty yard dash in," Mayock said. The draft evaluator does praise Rollins' ball skills and quickness to disrupt routes. We will continue to say it in relation to prospects' Combine performances, but rather than focus on a singular score look at the web of results.

Disagree with Mariota being ahead of Winston in both arm strength and accuracy. I've seen Winston get in a groove and throw the ball into very tight windows. I've never seen Mariota look half as good as Winston did in the 4th quarter against Notre Dame. I'm a huge Andrew Luck fan and I've never seen Luck look that good either. Every throw was perfect and he showed very good poise during the comeback. Winston is going to go #1 because of those glimpses of dominance even though Mariota played better and made fewer mistakes throughout the year and doesn't have the off-field concerns. Winston's concerns are his consistency and decision making at times (can be overaggressive trying to force the ball into windows Mariota wouldn't attempt). I'm pretty sure Winston is a legit 6'4 too.

Mariota being more poised than Winston is a joke. Jamies brought Florida State back from some decent sized holes in several games, and he never looks like the moment is too big for him. Even in the playoffs the loss they had was mainly due to him being surrounded by young players who couldn't handle the pressure. Even when Jameis made plays they found a way to screw things up.
