Hi, new member here!
Can somebody please create a new thread with my mock draft?
1. Round: Brandon Scherff OT/G, Iowa
We need fresh blood in our o-line. Scherff is a elite run blocker.
2. Round: Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma
Because of his off-field issues, he could fall into the second round. If he could bring it all together, he´s a pro bowl receiver.
3.Round: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon
Due to his knee injury, his name will fall. Has potential to be a shutdown CB.
4.Round: Joey Mbu, DT, Houston
There are a lot of good DE/DT in this draft. So i would wait until the fourth round to pick one. Mbu is a elite run stuffer, but limited at pass rush.
5.Round: Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State
We need a solid second QB behind Kaep.
6.Round: Anthony Jefferson, S, UCLA
We don´t have enough depth at the S position.
7.Round: Davis Tull, OLB, Chattanooga
Ahmad Brooks probably will get cut or traded. So we will need pass rush.

How much was this CBS mock draft from last February representative of what happened in the actual draft.

I want a receiver, but our OLine...needs work and attention. In theory, a team with a fantastic OLine can always win with less at the skill spots. Can't fake it in the trenches. Even with the losses of McDonald and maybe Cowboy, our DL still seems stronger than our OL. No?

We have to take one of the top WR at #15. OL depth can be had in the later rounds.

However, the NFL Combine is way too overrated, at least the physical examinations, imho. Only VERY disappointing results will cause huge movements.
