They'll take Mariota

That's the way I'm leaning. My only questions is has Lovie Smith every coached a hybrid player such as Mariota? Brett Hundley plays QB very similar to Jay Cutler and will be available in the late 1st to early 2nd. They could trade back to pick him up since Smith is familiar with his particular skill set.

Mariota is probably going to Tampa.

but then again Bridgewater was expected to be a top pick right after the season too

The NFC South should have been left out of the playoffs. Atlanta could've won the division if they won, instead they got the 8th pick.

They should trade down and get more picks.

I don't remember why, but I can't believe Bridgewater dropped. He looks really good. If I'm Minnesota, I double down on O-line protection, receivers, etc to ensure he continues to grow in the offense.

This. I think Mariotta is a good player, but I just don't see franchise QB. I could be wrong, but if I'm Tampa, I'm in favor of a trade down. Especially if they still will have a top 10 pick and can pick up an extra first for next year, which shouldn't be hard considering they have the number 1 overall. I say increase their draft capital and get as many picks as possible to turn that roster over.

I also wouldn't be mad if they took Leonard Williams. Bring the big boy home to Florida. He's also a good safe, plug and play type of pick that can be dominant at the next level. Lovie Smith might be well served to build what he knows and he built a great defense when he was in Chicago.

They should pick Mariota. They've needed a franchise QB since....well forever. It's time

I think that they should take Mariota. They need a quality QB, they have talent all over that team but need someone to help put it all together. I'm not entirely sold on Mariota but think he's a safer pick than Winston who is a great leader and could be a terrific NFL QB.....or he could implode and be out of the NFL in 3 seasons or less.

They should trade it. Both those qb's are garbage
