I used http://footballguys.com/pickvalue.htm to calculate all trades to make them realistic. Lets get to it.
1st(17) Odell Beckham Jr. WR LSU
HT: 5-11 1/4"
WT: 198
ARM: 32-5/8"
HAND: 10"
40 DASH: 4.43
As many think, the 49ers will trade with the Ravens giving up the 49ers 1st and 3rd (77). Odell has the speed we need on offense to be a deep threat and open things up underneath for Crab and Boldin. He is also very dangerous in the return game making LMJ expendable.
2nd(56) Marcus Smith OLB Louisville
HT: 6-3 3/8"
WT: 251
ARM: 34"
HAND: 10"
40 DASH: 4.68
You can never have enough good pash rushers in this league. Marcus Smith is an ex-QB who is a very intelligent hard nosed football player. He will come in and compete immediately with Corey Lemonier and Dan Skuta if/when Aldon misses time this year. Also could be great insurance with in contract talks with Aldon.
2nd(61) Pierre Desir CB Lindenwood
HT: 6-1"
WT: 198
ARM: 33"
HAND: 9-1/2"
40 DASH: 4.59
Big with decent speed. Small school stud. Married with 2 daughters. Model citizen. Great work ethic. Leader. Very mature. Will be a positive force in the locker room. I cannot say enough good things about this man. He will be a great player in this league once he gets used to the speed of the game.
3rd(94) Jeremy Hill RB LSU
HT: 6-0 5/8"
WT: 233
ARM: 32-1/2"
HAND: 10-1/4"
40 DASH: 4.66
He is projected to be a 3rd round pick, this is possible. I love this guy. Hes big and strong and runs with vengeance. Also has good speed to break away. Would be a perfect upgrade from Anthony Dixon for short yardage. Lets be honest, we do not know what we are getting with Lattimore. I for one hope he returns to form. But it is an unknown. Gore wore down big time last year, especially in the playoffs. Hunter and Gore's contracts expire after this year. LMJ is as good as gone. I think this is a smart pick for the future of the 49ers, who at the heart, are a running team.
3rd(100) Donte Moncrief WR Ole Miss
HT: 6-2 3/8"
WT: 221
ARM: 32-1/4"
HAND: 9-1/8"
40 DASH: 4.4
Before people freak out saying 'no way he will be there at #94' go look at some mocks. He is pegged as a mid-late 3rd rounder. ESPN has him as the 99th best prospect. I dont think this is because he is a mediocre player, but because this draft is so deep. I think this is a perfect spot for him. He will come in and be our #6 WR behind Crab, Boldin, Beckham, Patton, & Lloyd. But that is ok, it will give him time to learn behind great players and also give us leverage in talks with Crabtree on a new deal. Also Boldin wont be around forever. WR crisis solved.. for the foreseeable future.
4(129) David Fales QB San Jose St.
HT: 6-1 5/8"
WT: 212
ARM: 31-5/8"
HAND: 9-1/4"
40 DASH: 4.99
Relatively small compared to prototypical QBs in todays NFL. Not great arm strength. But is accurate and smart. Hard worker. Leader. Could develop into a solid backup. Could give Gabbert competition this year for the 2nd QB spot.
5th(170) Aaron Colvin CB Oklahoma
HT: 5-11 3/8"
WT: 177
ARM: 31"
HAND: 9-1/4"
40 DASH: 4.5
Would of been a 2nd or 3rd round selection, but tore ACL at the Senior Bowl. Good player to stash on 'IR' this year as several of our CBs contracts expire after this year.
7th(242) Jon Halapio OG Florida
HT: 6-3 1/2"
WT: 323
ARM: 33-1/2"
HAND: 10-1/4"
40 DASH: 5.34
Talented player who has struggled with injuries. Could be a solid backup with development.
7th(243) Vinnie Sunseri S Alabama
HT: 5-11 1/8"
WT: 210
ARM: 30"
HAND: 10"
40 DASH: 4.6
Good football player. Suffered torn ACL late last year. Could be a solid special teams player.
7(245) Trey Milliard FB Oklahoma
HT: 6-2 3/8"
WT: 247
ARM: 31"
HAND: 9-18"
40 DASH: 4.65
Good Fullback to back up Miller and play special teams.

Your picks are good.
Its just sad though the Niners have wasted how many draft picks/free agent signings now over the past years trying to resolve the WR issue and it still hasn't improved.

Would rather see Oline help over QB in the 4th (or sooner), but other than that, I like it and would be pretty stoked if the draft fell anything close to this.

Yeah really. Are you shocked about the QB taken in the 4th or the player? I can assure you that is around the place he will be taken. Maybe earlier. ESPN has him as the 121st player overall. That 4th pick is 129. I know rankings arent everything, but I can show you multiple sources that support what I just said.

Don't get me wrong I've watched Fales at SJSU and he's impressive. I have no doubt he will be taken somewhere around the 4th, and like you said maybe earlier.
Don't think the 49ers will be the team to take him. My gut tells me they'll be trading out of round 4. If they take a qb higher than round 6 I'll be shocked. But when it comes to the draft I have been wrong way more than I've been right so who knows lol.

Moncrief is probably not making it out of the 2nd. ESPN has him ranked lower than anyone else as far as I know. He's 57 on CBS. 0 chance he is there at 100.

Walter football and draft countdown have him around 100 as well. I think any other year he would be a top 50 guy. The depth of this draft, especially at WR could see guys like Moncrief, Landry, and Bryant, fall.

I like it even though I'm not fussed on the WR's. I just don't think ODB has that #1 potential. He's fast and shifty but I think 17 is too high for him... doesn't mean it won't happen though.
I'm not sold on Moncrief either so if he's there at 100 I'd be happy to pick him up there. True boom or bust.
I love the Marcus Smith & Pierre Desir picks. And the late round are solid but would pick OL help over a back up QB first.
