I like Verrett's game and think he replaces Rodgers perfectly.
I hate the Bryant pick and I agree with the Hill comparison.
Also, I highly doubt we draft a smallish RB after the LMJ experiment. I think Jeremy Hill could be a surprise pick if he slips in the draft, as RBs tend to do.
I'm a fan of Smith, Clarke, and Thomas and hope we land them.

All those picks? It was our first and KCs 2nd. And do you realize that there could be a run on corners starting at 22. And other teams know that to so a team like Denver that needs a corner may be trading up also so u move up and grab your guy and in this mock it's verrett. And as far as Bryant I talked about how his numbers are down from playing with Watkins. I would like to know matthews numbers if he was on Clemons roster. I said Gaines needs to work on his willingness to tackle. Archer is small but dynamic when he gets the ball in his hands I mean trending Holliday is small but can return kicks

Dont get me wrong I dont hate Verret, I just think thats way too early. I know what youre trying to do, we all felt the same way last year with Eric Reid. I applaud you for that.

Well just be glad I'm not the GM of the team cuz I would take Verrett in the top 10 over gilbert. Lol

He's not that big...say all you want about covering slot WR's, he'd arguably have a hard time physically dealing w/NFL. I'd say if Baalke does trade up in 1st rd, he might go after Fuller, but even that shouldn't cost nearly as much as #17.
Before I'd draft Bryant, I'd take Matthews or Adams. Both are considerably more proven WR's. Look at their numbers compared to Bryant. Your 1st WR chosen should be someone who can replace Crabtree, who'll arguably be the 1st starter leaving. Bryant has potential, but is a ways back in terms of production and polish.
Love Marcus Smith...think he'll be a stud OLB.
Gaines...his weakness is run support, definitely not a good thing in the NFC West. Breeland or Desir (who both have fine all-around games) would be better options.
Archer's too small...speed is great, but with Herron & Ellington out there, each with @ 20+ lbs more muscle, I like their chances for NFL success a lot more than Archer's.
Rest of the picks are fine.
You cannot have a fair judgement on numbers from Matthews ansd Adams, they were the #1 recievers on their team,Bryant had WATKINS opposite of Him and He still put up Nice numbers over 900 yds and I think 8 TDs while he was being a #2 recievers ,I think Bryant is JUSt what the Niners need, and the 9ers MUST draft 2 WRs this Year..Crabtree will be Gone next year.

excellent mock. people wont be questioning jason verrett once he's out there and shutting down receivers. dude is the best cover corner in the entire draft.

Swap Martavis Bryant with Donte Moncrief and this is a great draft.

lol you can't be serious with all that.
You think it hurts Bryant to have Watkins playing on the same offense as him? The kid is very good at what he does but Watkins makes it easy for him. But you can only send someone deep so much in the NFL and he's one dimensional.
Matthews was pretty much the only threat on his respective offense. It's much tougher to put up big numbers consistently when the defense's #1 goal is to take you out of the game.

I have not seen one mock that has Verrett rated that high, why would we need to move that high to get him? Most think he's a nickel corner, a 2nd round talent. If were moving up, I think we go for someone with prototype measurables.

lol not even close? Bryant is tall and has good speed but his route running is weak and his game is basically just running deep.
Bryant 6'4 211
Hill 6'4 215
Both have big YPC in college with small # of receptions.

Verrett is a round 1 talent. Not sure which mock drafts you've been watching but very few have him falling out of the first round. Kid would probably be #1 corner if he was 2 inches taller.

Hill came ffrom GaTech which is a running team,Clemson is a well rounded team that runs and passes(balanced)....

Put Matthews on Clemson with Watkins and lets see how HIS numbers pan out. No you missed my point about Watkins and Bryant being on the same team...Bryant is number 2 reciever with Watkins..."without Watkins Bryant becomes the Number One reciever.....How Many Clemson games Have You WATCHED in the last 2 Years.

I've seen him in both rounds, but thats not the point. Name the last time a 5'9" corner went 17th overall? I don't mind the Verrett pick, the pick of him is as valid as anyone's else guess , he's just not the type of talent you jump up 13 spots for especially when most drafts have him mocked in the area of our original slot. And 2" is big when one of his weaknesses is playing the ball in the air.
