Maybe. There are some other pass rushers we could get ahead of him but if we don't draft 1 earlier he might be a nice pick up.

Yes he has star potential. He won't last until the third.. been picking him up in my mocks in round 2. A lot of OLB/DE talent in the draft. It seems the 49ers are looking at Demarcus Lawrence and I like him too, but I like Jeffcoat and Murphy better because they were extremely productive in better competition. Jeffcoat had a great combine and his athleticism gives him more upside in the NFL. Shazier, Barr, Van Noy, Ford... a lot of potential stars and superstars in this draft..

The ONLY reason I haven't been driving the Jeffcoat bandwagon is because the Niners don't really need an OLB. They probably don't even have room on the roster for one unless they cut Dan Skuta or trade Ahmad Brooks. But Jeffcoat is great value where he's projected IMO.

Also, I think he's a better fit for a 4-3 than a 3-4, but he could play either IMO.

All those nagging injurys over his career scare me away.

He is talented and could be a nice developmental pick up. But I think at this point in his career he would get pushed off the roster by Skuta. He needs to get A LOT stronger to have an Impact in the NFL + stay healthy !
