Firstly, I am very confident that I will be wrong! Baalke is just so cute at draft time.
But I think he will cash all of the early picks then play around with the later ones. It's a strong draft after all. So we fill our needs in order in the first 3 rounds then it's fireworks time!
But of course if an irresistible option starts to drop Baalke will duck and dive.

I think we spend at least five picks on rookies. Why not add multiple young cheap top one hundred talents to a veteran roster that could use some speed and youth? This is a deep draft so we need to add more talent now. There was slim pickings in 2012 but in 2014 there is an abundance of talent. Its time to cash in!

I am thinking probably 5. Even if we trade back which is a very real possibility in each round Baalke will probably take 2015 picks in compensation.

IMHO there is no way Balke sits on his hands and picks at 30. He has said repeatedly, "if there is a player you like, go and get them". There are two sides to a deep draft. Like any market, there will be buyers and sellers.
I think the Niners will target a pick in the late teens like the Eric Reid pick.
Next, I think the Redskins pick, 34 overall, at the top of the second would be a great place to target as a second trade. WAS has a lot of needs. The lose of their 1st may make them sellers tomadd more depth.

4 ... I think one is used to move up and one to trade for a 2015 pick.

Four or five in the top 100 . . . plus three or four on Day 3 . . . I think seven to nine picks total

Here is my idea(plausible or not). Trade either crabs or iupati for a first or a 2nd for iupati because we will not be able to sign both imo. We can use the high pick we ge towards the best wr. Then trade lmj and a 3rd to Dallas for morris Claiborne. Then use our own pick to get a first next year or best available player this year. If we trade iupati and only got a second use it coupled with our first and maybe a third to get best wr available. Just an opinion.

not plausible and it's not going to happen. Teams aren't going 2 trade a first or 2nd for Iupati, a guard on a contract year they are going to have to pay a boat load of money for. Trading Crabs just won't happen no matter what, we already need WRs, why in the world would we trade our best one? The trade w/Dallas for Claiborne is plausible. Trading our own pick for a 1st next year, maybe but why? This is the best draft in a very long time, why delay picking up young talent?

I think it the most likely based on Baalke's history
