I like this kid a lot. He has kind of bounced around from teams in college and when he is on the field he makes some really good throws. I think he is probably a 5th round pick. He throws a nice tight spiral and really can put it in there on some plays. There are some games against stiffer competition he lacked focus and also got knocked around a bit. I really like the kid. He plays like his last name.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien met with Tom Savage after his pro day and ask him to throw more routes for him sees him as a Tom Brady like

That last half of your sentence is conjecture unless you can provide a quote but Savage did perform well and O'Brien did meet with him specifically.
from WF
To finish up from yesterday, I'm told Pittsburgh quarterback Tom Savage was very impressive throwing the ball, connecting on most of the 100+ passes he tossed. As I posted on twitter, Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien requested Savage throw a few specific sprint out passes at the end of the workout. I'm told to date Savage has six private workouts on his schedule.

playing in a pro style offense in college will help his transition to the NFL ...might need some work, but could be worth a look

I wonder if the 49ers are interested in him? Paul Chryst (QB coach Geep Chryst's brother) was Tom Savage's HC at Pittsburgh.

Wow. A draft invite would seem to indicate he has a shot at the 1st round, and certainly won't make it past the 2nd.
Amazing how much his stock has risen without playing a down of actual football. Scouts falling in love with those measurables.
