I don't know if the bigger problem is their big board or the draft engine itself - it seems too common for players ranked in the 30's on their big board to fall to the late second round. I got Marquise Lee, Verett, and Tuitt in the first two rounds last night (Tuitt fell to 61 which is ridiculous). Martavis Bryant should never last until the 49ers' late 4th round pick - that's one of the issues with their big board too.
Now, we all know Baalke and Co. will likely move, shake, and bake up some unpredictable treats for us during the Draft. And I think it's reasonable to assume that we're going to lose at least a couple of our own FAs. So, my picks below took this into account, and with a semi-rationalization that LMJ might be moved.

R1
S HA'SEAN "HA HA" CLINTON-DIX
ALABAMA

A playmaker who can step in opposite E. Reid and together form the dynamic duo we need.

R2
WR JORDAN MATTHEWS
VANDERBILT

He doesn't have the explosion of Sammy Watkins, or the size of Mike Evans, but what he has is a smooth, well-rounded game and a nice pair of hands to his name.

R2
CB KYLE FULLER
VIRGINIA TECH

This cat is... well, he actually resembles a cat to me when I watch him due to his quickness, coordination, body control, and general disregard for whatever the opposing receiver and quarterback are trying to accomplish.

R3
C WESTON RICHBURG
COLORADO STATE

I don't see us bringing back Goody. So while Weston is a somewhat understated player, I think drafting him likely states we've found our center for the next few seasons.

R3
DT DAQUAN JONES
PENN STATE

Getting a player with Daquan's combination of size and quickness at this spot in the third round is IMO a good value point to further fortify our D line with both proven and young talent.

R4
RB DE'ANTHONY THOMAS
OREGON

This dude is ridiculous. I normally try to make pragmatic judgments based upon maturity, wisdom, and all that good stuff.
But this dude is FAST, and really, really good at returning kicks. We don't need him to be an all-around back. Because if he's returning kicks, he's a constant threat to take it back.
So if adding that to the team isn't pragmatic and wise, I simply don't want to be.

All kinds of things are going to happen between now and the Draft to mix things up, but if from the above players we get a few, I for one will be a happy dude.
LOL at this simulator........ I would kill for this draft but there isnt a chance in hell

30 DE STEPHON TUITT NOTRE DAME - I am pretty conservative so it is hard for me to ignore the line, plus I have been wanting to draft a J. Smith replacement for a couple of years now

56 WR JARVIS LANDRY LSU - possible Boldin replacement, ideally in 2-3 yrs

61 WR DONTE MONCRIEF MISSISSIPPI - legit shot at being our first all around #1 threat at WR since T.O. (jeebus has it been that long)

77 CB PIERRE DESIR LINDENWOOD - solid day 1 nickel back

94 RB STORM JOHNSON UCF - big back with decent hands and a keen nose for the end zone

125 S HAKEEM SMITH LOUISVILLE - slugger very much in the mold of a Niners safety

158 G KADEEM EDWARDS TENNESSEE STATE - big body, long arms

189 DT RYAN CARRETHERS ARKANSAS STATE - stout nose

219 QB CONNOR SHAW SOUTH CAROLINA - I am trying to stop hating on short QBs, especially since 2 of them have won the SB in recent years

220 FB J.C. COPELAND LSU - wrecking ball type that Niners like to use in certain formations

222 TE XAVIER GRIMBLE USC - decent run blocker and check down guy who is not easy to take down

This is the best one I think I've ended up with so far. Obviously I don't think we'll trade as much as I did here but I would be happy with these players in similar spots.

Yeah i think the first pick site is the better of the two, especially when it comes to the big board and players going where they should...though i did see ATL trade up to the 1st pick and select Eric Ebron

They are very stingy on trading up...you would think they would just have uploaded the draft pick trade matrix that is out there and follow it.

So I use a different NFL draft simulator. Some prospects on mine are way overrated, while others are way underrated, but on this one you can trade picks (unfortunately not for future drafts, but still fun!). Here were my draft results, with a lot of trades. Some I would have traded out of the draft altogether if it were possible, like at the Barrow pick and Allen pick, and potentially the Parkey and Neal picks. Let me know what you all would think if it went down like this in May:

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 15 (PITT): Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
Round 2 Pick 24: Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota
Round 3 Pick 8 (MINN): Davante Adams, WR, Fresno State
Round 3 Pick 13: Craig Loston, SS, LSU
Round 3 Pick 24 (CINN): Dominique Easley, DT, Florida
Round 3 Pick 30: Bryan Stork, C, Florida State
Round 4 Pick 19 (DAL): Lamin Barrow, ILB, LSU
Round 4 Pick 29: Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska
Round 6 Pick 1 (HOU): Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia
Round 6 Pick 20 (ARI): Rajion Neal, RB, Tennessee
Round 6 Pick 26 (N.O.): Ricardo Allen, CB, Purdue
Round 7 Pick 27: Cody Parkey, K, Auburn
Round 7 Pick 28: Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma
Round 7 Pick 30: De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon
