Return man: Dri Archer or De'Anthony Thomas

I think many people have advocated this. Not necessarily to replace LMJ on kick and punt return duty (although that probably would happen), but to have a deep threat with some speed defenses would respect/fear.

I really like Archer, but worry about his ability to return punts since he has a very small statistical sample size (with substandard results). Kick returning ability is nice, but punt returns are a whole other ball game and much more important in the NFL with the recent kickoff rule changes.
Don't see why someone with Archer's skill set wouldn't make a great punt returner, but it just gives me pause that Archer was rarely ever used as a PR at the college level.

Neither. Wait for Montgomery from Stanford whenever he declares.

Black Mamba is going to Philly. That's the perfect scenario for him.

LMJ. Already on the team. He has been really, really good.
A return specialist is also one less spot on the roster. It's trying to fix a problem we don't have. If folks want a burner as a receiver, draft one, but needing a returner ain't the reason to do it, IMO.
Edit: James' kickoff return average would have been top 5 in the NFL this year. His punt return average was top 10. Really, there's not a problem here.

Receiver/running back/return man in the 3rd round. Remember, at one point in time, Randall Cobb was just a "return man" too. Archer could be the deep threat this team needs on offense, as well as contribute in the return game.

Amazing how long fair catch Kyle was able to keep the job. Unbelievable.
And I agree, I want to stick with James. He's done an great job so far with his PR duties.
Edit: Not gonna lie, I like this Acher kid though.
