We don't necessarily need a burner. We need someone who can threaten teams deep and Strong may not have 4.3 speed but he has good game speed and his size allows him to threaten defenses down the field.
SF needs to use Kap's arm down the field and we need to open up the field (like Moss did). Strong doesn't have that speed you covet and I don't see a WR that will threaten teams deep.

That's a surprise to me. He might be the fastest of all the big receivers in the draft. He's 6'3", 210 lbs and NFLdraftscout.com has his fastest 40 at 4.38. They project him at 4.4 for the combine.
And his speed passes the eye test as well. When you watch him play, he's getting behind corners and pulling away.

One thing to keep in mind about Strong is that Kap has been working out with him in PHX. That is a good thing to have because your QB has an inside track to know if he would fit in the offense. If Kap liked him, then he could make a case to the FO to draft him.
