surprised the real reason why it was moved hasn't came up..
the move was done because Radio City has a play/Musical going on during the proposed date of the draft and had to be pushed out to May.

The league is also thinking of moving the venue. Mabye, they could hold the draft each year in:
1. the same city as the superbowl
2. a different city--rotate through the league
3. city of the team with the first pick
4. San Francisco

You'd think that moving the draft back would affect the rookie mini camps....but it's all about being in NY....I would have look for another venue anywhere in the country that had that weekend open...but Goodell make is seem like NY gave birth to the NFL....lolz they couldn't even move it up a week...I hate waiting till the end of April for the draft...now I got to wait till mid May...

who really suffers are the colleges in the NYC area that use RCMH as a graduation venue in May...they get pushed down the waiting list

Move it to Chicago - middle of the country time wise and I'm sure they'd welcome it w/open arms.
Really uncomfortable moving it back. It's such a long wait as it is for football fans.

Better get used to it. Goddell wants to permanently move it to May in the future.
