I'll take a guess and say Okoye is the first person from Oxford to get an NFL invite.

It's hard to see him but he's #50. I hope the 49ers have room on the practice squad for him, he'll be a solid backup lineman if they develop him.

The 3 offensive linemen we got seem very solid. Omameh probably has the best chance to stick as a swing guard, played at a great program at Michigan, All Academic honors, prototype size for a guard at 6-4 305. Sherman Carter could also be a nice find as a center/guard but probably needs to be developed. Marquardt has the size but played against lower level competition.
I don't think Gray will really stick. Athlete who can do a bit of everything but not great at anything. Maybe a special teamer/TE prospect? Morris is a speedster who may be able to stick as an extra body.
Overall though, we don't have a ton of spots to fill.

Cheaper is always better. Jennings is the best LS in the NFL.
Can't recall the last bad snap, Jennings is a Machine.

Has Jennings ever had a bad snap?

Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee
reported Sunday that the 49ers have
invited Nate Montana to attend their
upcoming rookie minicamp, according to
the quarterback's agent. Montana, 23,
put forth a positive showing at the
team's local pro day earlier this month.

This MarQueis Gray is interesting, caught 42 passes for 500 yards when they had him at WR in 2010, wonder what position he will play TE/WR

It'll be interesting to watch a guy like this in the pre-season. His best hope is to be a Delanie-like hybrid WR/TE so we keep him around in case we need him.

OG Patrick Omameh <-- that name makes me think of the Deer Hunter.

Can someone explain to me why would we sign a 6'1" 170 lbs WR when there were still some pickings after the draft such as Marcus Davis and Tyrone Goard ?
