why is pass rusher such a big deal for you? Brooks is pretty good.

Trade it for a teams first next year and something else.. If not ill take tank, short, Ertz, lacy, or jamar Taylor. I wouldn't mind Keenan Allen either.

Could just be a smokescreen, but it does not look like Geno will go 33 to the Jags

I really hope that someone trades up to 33 for Geno and Tank falls snug into our laps! If that happens, I still think there is a great chance that either Jessie Williams, Big Hank or John Jenkins is there at the end of the 2nd.

There is a silver lining if the Jags take Tank, we would then have the golden ticket for the QB's since most assume the Eagles will take Geno. So if we lose out on Tank, we could be in for a nice Xmas bounus! 2014 2nd? Plus a 2013 3rd? hmmmm, look what NE got for their pick. The excitement is building!!!

i havent seen him much, but his lower body size/strength and his ability to stay on his feet concern me

I don't understand the dislike for Jesse Williams.

he can play all three positions on the d line, along with Dorsey.

I have a feeling we're taking Ertz.

If the round went down this way, and it is always an if, I would take Ertz at number 34, and trade up slightly and take Margus Hunt....... That would be the top three I have been hoping for.

Now this is a long shot, but I would also like to trade pick 61, and the Alex Smith pick next year plus say the 5th rounder to trade up into round 2 to grab Keenan Allen.

Because our pass rush sucked late in the season. I like Brooks as a pass rusher in our base defense, but he is a LB and is a little out of place as a strong-side edge rusher in our 4-down nickle package. Tank would immediately upgrade our nickle pass-rush. He is also strong as a bull and would only need to add about 10-15 lbs to take over for Justin Smith in our base defense.

Tank is one of the few guys in this draft that has the physical ability to replace Justin Smith. Datone Jones, Star Lotulelie and Sheldon Richardson were the others and they are all gone.
