5 Guys for Each Round

On the eve of the 2013 NFL draft, I decided to post a list of 5 players I really like for each round of the draft. Many of these guys are players featured in my offseason mock drafts. This isn't a list of players I think the 49ers should draft or that I think they will draft, but rather just a list of my favorite prospects projected to go in each round.

First Round
Cornellius Carradine DE Florida St.- I want this guy at either 31 or 34. The heir apparent to Justin Smith.
Star Lotulelei DT Utah
Arthur Brown LB Kansas St.- Manti Te'o gets all the attention, but this guy is quietly the best ILB prospect in the draft.
Sharrif Floyd DT Florida
Sylvester Williams DT North Carolina - He ain't Kentwan Balmer. Not even close.

Second Round
Keenan Allen WR Cal - Faster than his 40 time would lead you to believe. I have a feeling he wasn't 100% healthy when he ran it.
Darius Slay CB Mississippi St.
Jamie Collins OLB Southern Miss.
David Amerson FS North Carolina St. - I love him as a Free Safety. In fact I think he has the potential to be the best ball-hawking FS in the class.
Terron Armstead OT Arkansas-Pine Bluff

Third Round
Markus Wheaton WR Oregon St. - 3 years from now, people will be wondering how he lasted as long as he did.
B.W. Webb CB William & Mary - Next Ladarius Webb. Off-the-charts athleticism.
Leon McFadden CB San Diego St. - Another undersized slot-corner.
Travis Kelce TE Cincinnati
D.J. Swearinger SS South Carolina - Reminds me a lot of Dashon Goldson.
Stedman Bailey WR West Virginia - Okay so I'm cheating and including 6, but I couldn't leave him off the list.

Fourth Round
Trevardo Williams OLB Connecticut
Shamarko Thomas SS Syracuse
Marcus Lattimore RB South Carolina
Zaviar Gooden OLB Missouri
Stepfan Taylor RB Stanford

Fifth Round
A.J. Klein ILB Iowa St. - Yes he's a white, stat-hoarding MLB. No that does not mean he's slow and unathletic. Far from it in fact.

Tavarres King WR Georgia
Nicholas Williams DT Samford

Sixth Round
Terry Hawthorne CB Illinois
Steve Williams CB Cal - Most underrated CB in the draft class. Short but his tremendous vertical helps.
Jordan Mills OT Louisiana Tech
Kyle Juszczyk FB Harvard
Zac Stacy RB Vanderbilt - Extremely productive in the SEC, top Combine performer, no character concerns yet he gets no love.

Seventh Round
Marquess Wilson WR Washington St. - Randy Moss body type and skills. Can he mentally handle NFL life? Worth a 7th to find out.
Jeremy Harris CB New Mexico St. - Tall CB with nice measurables.
Quanterus Smith DE/OLB Western Kentucky - If healthy he would be long gone.
Lawrence Okoye DE - Wet clay for Tomsula to mold.
Roger Gaines OT Tennessee St. - 36 and a quarter inch arms. Not a typo.
