Nice - I'd be happy with that.

Thanks. I had to try and be fair, and let the dominos fall so to speak. I had Atlanta taking 2 TEs by accident, so I revised it before I published it.

Nice mock, AB. I'd definetly love it if we went with that combination. Of course we'd have to hope that J. Williams goes that early inorder for Jones to get to #31.

given that a couple of corners are only signed through next year and rogers' has that huge contract, i am thinking that a corner is going to get taken somewhere early.
I would be content with those picks, but now that you made your mock known, it means the niners won't be drafting that player in the first round. I don't think anyone has gotten it right the last two years on who Baalke would pick, prognosticators or fans. In fact, I wonder how many people predicted his first draft. And although many fans wanted Kaep, many predicted he would be taken in the third or we would move back into the second round. Few thought we would move up to get get him as high as we did.

Thanks, I think Williams goes early. I like Jones for our successor to Justin.

I thought about CB, but couldn't justify one in first 3 rounds.

I know this likely wont happen. Would love this draft, but Baalke is too unpredictable.
Love the first pick of Datone J.... like the 2nd pick of Cyprien... am a bit "meh" on the Escobar pick.. would probably tear a ligament jumping for joy over Swearinger falling to 74 and us getting him... LOVE John Simon too...

Niners mock =

Nitpicks:
Spelling- Jon Bostic LB
Carradine at # 64?
Josh Boyd at # 73?
Skeptical of William Gholston being selected in the first 4 rds.
My want for B.Williams says that the only way im ok with taking Gavin Escobar is if Williams is already gone. I like both players and I think I'd need a pack of Huggies if the first 3 looked like that. Lol . Good draft. AB for GM!!!
Niners don't need Justin's replacement this year. Why a second safety at #74? We already have Dahl. Wouldn't a WR like Da'Rick Rogers make more sense?
I like it but you have some guys like Carradine and Nassib falling farther than I think they will.
Dion Jordan doesn't fall to 14. He will probably go to Jacksonville at #2.

What's the guarentee that Darick doesn't become like Jenkins in his first year? Nadda. You talk about having Dahl and not needing a safety. Well we have Bolden and Crabtree and Williams, who is coming along nicely and knows the offense and will be in front of Jenkins and any WR drafted so where is the rookie going to get playing time. Williams was starting to click real good before he went down, add to that equation Manningham when he comes back.

As far as Dahl goes, he is a good ST and only an adaquet Saftey. Anyone of the top 3 safteys possibly can beat him out and here is the critical part, be better than him. Not to mention the fact that the next year we will have no Safeties signed. As far as justin smith, in case you have not been paying attention, the niners acknowledged that they need to get someone who can not only eventually replace him, but also rotate with both Smith and McD to spell them so that they don't get as worn out at the end of the season this year. As strong as these guys are, when your body is worn out, it is more susceptable to injury, that is why Walsh cut back on the hard practices as the season progress as well as having a nice rotation. So these guys will play more than wr.

The only position of need on O is TE.

I do not want to be Green Bay or Saints or Patriots West, all O pass and no D. You can get away with it during the reg. season, but come playoffs you will more than likely see the door because you are one demenional. They got away with it once but then people figured them out. Pats did it more than once of course, but that was because they had a balanced team back then with a running game and D.
