I apologize if there is a thread about this guy, but I couldn't find one on him, albeit I didn't look very hard. I follow the zone a lot and especially leading up to the draft, which is where I get most of my insight on draft prospects. I was wondering what the thoughts are on this guy? I know his 40 time was slower than what most would expect at 4.58, but he has the length and reports say he looked great in positional drills. I just wonder if he fell to the 2nd round, which is what it appears, why not take him with there? He has experience at safety as well and his numbers in college are pretty darn good. He was considered the top senior corner going into the season and if only his 40 time is a problem, then who cares. Though I hate Richard Sherman, the guy is solid and he ran the 40 in like the 4.5s as well. After watching his highlight video, I was impressed with his knack for the football. Any feedback is great and if there is a thread than oops...my bad.

Since I see Trufant being gone before the Niners hit the clock, I really want Banks. He's a playmaker, and we are in need of a CB considering CRog's decline. Praying we pick up Banks.

Listening on the radio this morning, Maicco or whatever his name is was saying we are going after CB Sean Smith possibly to add a corner with length to them to combat the bigger WRs.

So maybe Banks is on our radar. Banks would match up pretty well against a guy like Larry Fitz.

Yah maybe, but after Trufant ran that 4.3 40 do you actually expect him to be there at 31st pick??

I was just thinking this. Would be ecstatic getting Banks at either #31 or #34.
