Looking back...how accurate was your mock draft?

Figured it would be funny to look back and see how far off (or close) we were.

Here are both of the mocks I did with the earliest being posted first. Original posted in January followup posted in mid April.

Mock v.1 posted Jan 20, 2012.

San Francisco trades their 1st round pick (32) with Miami for their 2nd (41) and 3rd (73).

2. Dwight Jones, WR
2. Bruce Irvin, OLB
3. Kevin Zeitler, OG
3. TY Hilton, WR
4. Harrison Smith, SS
5. Micah Pellerin, CB
6. Evan Rodriguez, FB-TE-H Back
7. Brandon Hardin, FS

Prediction vs Outcome
Jones 2nd round - UDFA
Irvin 2nd round - 1st round 15th overall
Zeitler 3rd round - 1st round 27th overall
Hilton 3rd round - 3rd round 92 overall
Smith 4th round - 1st round 29th overall
Pellerin 5th round - UDFA
Rodriguez 6th round - 4th round 111th overall
Hardin 7th round - 3rd round 79th overall

Overvalued 2 players, Undervalued 5 players, Correctly valued 1 player, and 0 players drafted by the 49ers.

FAIL

Mock v.2 posted Apr 17, 2012

1. Stephen Hill-WR
2. Bruce Irvin-OLB
3. Ben Jones-C
4. Jonathan Massaquoi-OLB
5. Brandon Hardin-FS
6. Hebron Fangupo-NT
7. Akiem Hicks-DE

Prediction vs Outcome
Hill 1st round - 2nd round 43rd overall (although I did say prior that Hill fit into the 36-42 draft range and we should trade back to get him)
Irvin 2nd round - 1st round 15th overall
Jones 3rd round - 4th round 99 overall
Massaquoi 4th round - 5th round 166 overall
Hardin 5th round - 3rd round 79th overall
Fangupo 6th round - UDFA
Hicks 7th round - 3rd round 89th overall

Overvalued 4 players, Undervalued 3 players, Correctly valued 0 players, and 0 players drafted by the 49ers.

Fail
Mock drafts are almost always inaccurate in hindsight...

If someone forced me to pick between accurately guessing two draft choices for the 49ers or pulling the trigger twice in a game of Russian Roulette in a life or death situation, I would definitely pick the latter.

I was WAY off. I had the Niners selecting Zeitler in the first round and Brian Quick in the second round. Both went higher than expected!
someone should look back at the so called "experts" and see how their mocks adjust. it seems they are never anywhere near close but still get paid to give their 2 cents.
I got none right, yo!

with the amount of trades that happened its impossible to get anybody right now except for the first 3-4 picks

In terms of just our team, I correctly called Slowey in the 6th, that is it though besides correctly calling the WR position in the 1st.
