Who is Trent Baalke's Mystery Draft Crush?

OH BOY!!!!! BAALKE DROPIN BOMBS!!!

I dont know whats more fun, the anticipation of the draft, or reading people's guesses on Trents cryptic statement . Im going with that latter.

I think Baalke is hoping for Randle, but has Jenkins as a backup plan.

1. AJ Jenkins, WR
2. Amini Silatolu, RG

3. Jarius Wright

Quick over Jenkins and Wright in Baalke's mind. Quick has the size and tools to be a #1.

Just kidding. It would take alot to move into the top 15, where I think he will go. I'd rather target Hill and get ahead of the Texans.

LaMichael James

Difference between James and Hunter?

The difference? We already have Hunter. Why on earth would we draft a duplicate player for one position?

Hence the question mark. I see no difference

It's not that much. A second round pick.

According to Grant Cohns reciever rankings he has Randle #2 behind Fleener.

2. Rueben Randle, LSU, 6-3, 212 lbs., split end. Randle's a big-play receiver who can win outside on short, intermediate and long routes. He ran a 4.43 at his Pro Day and averaged 16.8 yards per catch over his three-year career in the SEC. He's a similar prospect to Hakeem Nicks.

Yeah, but isn't Floyd like Bowe? Not very fast and lacks a quick twitch.

I know that both players are similar sized, and the same can be even said about Frank Gore but the Niners need to draft a RB.

The difference...
LaMichael is much faster than Hunter and Gore and a more natural north south runner than Hunter.
LaMichael was much more productive in college than Hunter, especially in his last year.
If Gore goes down (in an offense that is 60% based on running), LaMichael and Hunter can compete to fill in.
Bottom line, we need a quality backup RB more than we need a 3rd string backup TE (like Fleener, although he would be a great pick)
