I would like the front office to at least try to extend Rogers before the end of the season. If anything, he is at least a very good #2.

Agree
I only wish this kid was available, Tyrann Mathieu from LSU. He may be little, but apparently he knows Kung Fu. He is dominating guys in the secondary and on special teams. Too bad, the kid is only a Sophomore.
Cliff Harris??

I'm on the Minnifield bandwagon!!!!

The sad thing is that at this point in the season we already know what direction we need to go in durring the next draft. We definitely need perimeter players. Moretalent at either CB or WR will do wonders for this team. I know this is a CB thread, but I would argue that our WRs are an even bigger deterrent to the teams success.I think we will end up targeting Kirkpatrick or Harris at CB, or Blackmon, Jeffery, Floyd, or Fuller(legacy pick) at WR. Of-course all this depends on where our pick is, and don't doubt that I am hoping for the best out of this season. It's just some early speculation on my part.

The way he's been playin, we'd be stupid to not resign him.

I agree. Personally, I wish we had just made Culliver a safety. He's played there, and I think he'd be a good one. Who knows how much Brock can grow with playing time, but if Rogers leaves via free agency, we then only have...

Spencer, Brock, Culliver, Brown... And Brown in my opinion should go. He's just not good. #4 corner really.

We need to draft at least two DBs, probably three. FS and CB. Goldson and Williams are on one-year deals. We have to.

I don't think Rogers will leave. He already really likes it here, especially compared to where he came from in Washington, and he's been really good so far. I like Culliver at CB because he's got fluid hips and good change of direction skills. I think he's a better cover man than a ball hawk, and at FS I want a playmaker. I think he'll be a good #3 CB eventually, maybe even a starter. But as far as the draft goes I would like Dennard, Kirkpatrick, or Claiborne, in that order. Guys like Minnifield are good too. I'm not sure I want the character concerns that come with Cliff Harris or Jenkins(who I really don't want). I would take the best CB or FS available unless an absolute stud of a reciever is on the board.

I think we need to be like the Bucs and double dip at this position..cause our corners are a joke!

We're gonna be in need of WRs, too

This. If the CB pool is deep at talent, I say we go after a Jeff Fuller (6'4 220) or Alshon Jeffrey(6'4 229). I think a stand out reciever that can get some YAC would be great, but theres always recievers(Marques Colston was taken in the 7th rd). Dont think its a Priority pick though, there are recievers every year. But if not, CBs forsure because good ones dont usually make it past the 2nd Rd.
Top Priorities
1.OL/CB
2.CB/OL/OLB
3.DB/DE/WR
I wanna cut Williams, not impressing me. Gave up that TD against the Cowboys. The one that Miles Austin got. Shoulda went for the light up hit, but instead went for the pick and missed..BIG TIME.
Cut Brown too, I kinda like him but Im not seeing much production
Re-Sign Dashon Goldston. He had 8 tackles against Cincy in his first game back and had 10 tackles against Philly. 18 tackles for a safety in two games is impressive. I think he's highly under-rated. He's earning his contract
Culliver will be a very good CB one day under Vic Fargio cause hes only gonna get better in the environment that he's in. He's 6'3, he can cover, and he's fast.
Only thing tht would keep him from starting would be Shantae Spencer being healthy..which is rare lol.
I say we try and go for Dre Kirkpatrick so we can have some immediate talent. We missed out on too many good CBs between the draft and Free Agency so I think we need to pick this guy up if he''s possible. Its easier to find a good OL in the 2nd rd than a corner like this.
Check out his scout report. He's legit
