I would much rather have Peterson at 7 and if not look to trade down. But overall good, thanks for sharing.

New England can get a much better deal than that, IMO. Someone is going to get desperate when there's only 2 of the QBs left. NE could p/u an extra pick and not have to drop near as many slots. I may be in the minority, but I don't see us taking a QB early this year due to no offseason to develop one.

I would make the follwoing changes.
1. Swap Lawson for LaBoy as a re-signed FA.. Lawson is far more versatile and is better than most Zoners give him credit for.
2. Swap Quinn for Prince in the 1st round
3. Swap Moch for Dowling in the 3rd
Otherwise I like it.

I wasn't knocking you man. I just think that all the other teams in front of us that need QBs can offer a better deal, unless we just got stupid about it. We really should have lost that last game to Seattle and we'd be in much better shape, bad as that sounds. Personally I think this draft should be all about the defense, we really only have 2 players that couldn't be upgraded.

Ponder @ 33 would make my day.

I question whether Dowling will be there in the 3rd. If he is then that would be awesome! Quinn, Ponder and Dowling. Same as miine

just not a fan of quinn either, too risky for the 7th pick in the draft. No Peterson or Miller= trade down

Agreed. Also, no way Dowling makes it past the Raiders in the 2nd. He's too good. Maybe Chimdi Chekwa in the 3rd.

f**k no! On Quinn
Why not, dont you like it when the opposing QB gets sacked ?
Quinn is better suited for the 4-3.. Even his coach from college said so..
"Better suited" does not mean "will only be good in". The biggest reason for Quinn being a better fit in a 4-3 is he is inexperienced dropping back into coverage. That doesn't mean he can't learn it. Demarcus ware had the same issue coming out of college....he's turned out to be a decent player.

we have one glaring defensive need. CB. and other than that, we need severe help on offense. I have a hard time believing that an offensive mind like Harbaugh enters the NFL and uses a 7th overall selection for a defensive player in a position were not specifically hurting at.
I dont get all the people who keep mocking us taking a LB or DE at 7. why??? our LB and DL units are probably our strongest units on the team. why continue to stack up there? id rather stop getting burned to the endzone every sunday because our secondary blows.
CB and QB should be our top priorities. I trust Harbaugh in picking out QB's, so whoever he decides to draft, if anyone, ill be ok with. if we take a QB at 7, Harbaugh must really like what he sees. (i just pray its not Cam Newton, because i saw his Gruden QB camp, and hes a freakin retard).
I have a feeling we wait until the 2nd or 3rd for a QB, and then trade up for Luck next year. if Harbaugh really believes Luck is the franchise guy, he wont waste his time with a top QB option this year, and will be willing to give up a good amount for Luck next year. after all, a couple early rounders for a franchise QB would be a steal.
im hoping for Peterson. if not we should move back. and as for Quinn, we JUST got burned by a 1st round UNC DE a couple years back. lol....just sayin.

You make good points. But getting a CB in free agency (when it eventually happens) will be easier than getting a pass rusher.

If you can assume Alex would resign, then I like the draft.
