With all the money that goes here, you draft the surrest thing and a DL if it's not a QB) #2 Denver : CB Patrick Peterson (Dareus gone, they pick the best CB to be trained by Bailey and have a solid secondary to compensate the wickness of the line but they'll have Dumervil back !) #3 Buffalo : OLB Von Miller (they have one of the best playmakers coming out of college) #4 Cincinnati : QB Cam NEWTON (Palmer gone, they gotta go QB and i think they want a better playmaker with more potential so they go Cam instead of Gabbert) #5 Arizona : QB Blaine Gabbert (Like cincy they need a QB and they take the best available) #6 Cleveland Browns : WR AJ Green (They absolutely need a WR and this guy is phenomenal. A no brainer here. This guy moves and sprints with the ball like the GOAT. He has great upside and could be great for some years) #7 49ers : DT Nick Fairley (My biggest fear just happened : the QB (gabbert), the DL (Darreus) the OLB (Miller) and the CB (Peterson) we were looking for are gone ! s**t happens man and you gotta deal with it. But as we will play a 4-3 we need a DL so that's why i picked him over Prince and one-year wonder Bowers) Alternate mock : #1 Carolina : QB Cam NEWTON (Matt Clausen first year looks worse than Alex Smith's. Of course he wasn't a #1 pick but that doesn't save him) #2 Denver : DT Marcell Dareus (It's no secret that the Broncos D was just horrendous. DL is more valuable here than LB or CB and Darreus looks more impressive than Fairley or Bowers) #3 Arizona : QB Blaine Gabbert (No i didn't make a mistake here, i know the Tards draft #5 but Hello! they trade up with Buffalo in a move that helps both teams. The Tards get the QB they want, the Bills think they'll have the DL they want plus more picks) (PS: this scenario takes place because Carolina drafts a QB, If they don't then Arizona stays at #5) #4 Cincinnati : WR AJ Green (I just have a funny feeling that Cincy surprised by the Tards move pick a WR then a QB early in the 2nd round where they could still find Ponder so they help him by selecting the best WR in the mix) #5 Buffalo : OLB Von Miller (One thing that could make the trade with zona difficult is the fear of the bills management losing this guy to cincy. But zona gives good compensation so they take their shot ... and they win : either mock they get their man) #6 Cleveland Browns : CB Patrick Peterson (Unfortunately the Browns pick the last guy that is clearly over the top and take our guy. Good pick. Good luck ... basstardz) #7 49ers : DT Nick Fairley (see othet mock above) So the first seven are the same in both mocks but the order differs

that would suck if peterson and miller were gone. but fairley isnt a horrible pick either, dont forget Prince if we went the CB route. if it was me running the team i would try and trade back in that scenario.

Interesting, Jimmy Clausen must really suck if the Panthers select the Ravens offensive coordinator to be their quarterback

one question, did you read over your post before posting this? now I'm not trying to be a d*** but I have a hard time taking this serious when you can't even get Cam Newton's name right. also, this isn't such a big deal because nobody cares about him, but it's Jimmy Clausen QB for Carolina. Finally we currently run a 3-4 defense, don't let the article about how we should possibly switch to a 4-3 fool you, so as far as Fairley is concerned we really don't need a penetrating D-Lineman.

I'd rather have Robert Quinn. Even if we switched to a 4-3 (which i doubt we do) we have enough big bodies to play DT. We would still need a pass rusher.

I bet Cam Cameron is stoked.

we'e not going to a 4-3....even if Dareus, Peterson, Miller, Green, Gabbert are all gone I see us going Prince or Quinn or trading down.

I feel Quinn would be a better pick and/or trade back w/Minn to get another pick and get a very solid pick like JJ Watt.

Umm we run a 3-4 defense. But it's not a bad idea if we actually did run a 4-3 then Nick Fairley can be a dominant D-lineman in that system. I think we would try and trade down or pick up Prince Amukamara in this situation.

if this is the case, i wouldnt stay at 7 and draft neither Fairley or Prince.. I would try to trade down a bit and shoot for Kerrigan... and if we happen to be stuck at the 7th spot, i'm gonna go out of my way and draft a TO like talent in Julio Jones..
