Instead of us picking individual players, what positions would you like to see the Niners draft and in what round?

1: ? Pass rush
2: ? CB
3: ? QB
4: ? DL
4: ? WR
5: ? S
6: ? RB
6: ? K
7: ? Pass Rush

Pass rush = OLB unless there is a monster DE or DT available. And I hope FAs are available to fill some of these needs.

Edit: OG from FA. Don't want another young guy on the line.

If Carson can be Picked up of even Hasselback I think they may be a better fit to lead this team. An alternative senerio is keening Alex and coaching him up some more.

1: OLB
2: QB
3: CB
4: DT
4: WR
5: RB
6: LB
6: LB
7: CB
7: DE
1: CB
2: OLB
3: QB
4: OG/C
4: WR
5: NT
6: CB
6: OLB
7: DE
7: RB
First I would plan on getting a vet QB and or re-signing Alex so I don't have to worry about QB if none are available in the right spots. I know we can't do that until the CBA is signed so that makes it risky.

1. CB
2. OLB
3. RG
4. NT
4. FS
5. 3-4 DE
6. Scat Back
6. FB
7. WR
7. CB

I am pretty set on the first 2 rounds being CB and OLB or vice versa. After that any combo of RG, FS, NT are fine... then 3-4 DE/Scat Back/FB/WR and BPA or another CB to finish it.

You can mix it up a million ways but if we do get a QB I would like it to go CB/OLB, whatever we didn't get in the 1st then the QB.

How could I forget OG?! Revision time.

1 pass rush de
2 pass rush olb
3 cb
4 wr
4 dt
5 fb
6 og
6 ot
7 bpa

I really don't see any qb's that are special in this draft. We have way too many holes to fill on this team to reach for a qb. I think we sign Alex to start and pickup a FA backup. I see us drafting heavy for defense and turning it into a really special unit that can keep us in any game.

The WCO will take a few years to get down pat for all our players and I think Jim will want to see how our current players pan out before we go heavy offense in next years draft.

I will say rd 1 needs to be prince or peterson period. alt would be olb. we need both a pr and secondary. but if u were too look at rankings cb is a need over pass rush. yes i know they help eachother. but our pr was better than our sec. we just about had the worst sec in the nfl

14TH IN SACKS, 24th IN PASSING D... a little more room for help with secondary

Very few QBs can pass effectively from a prone position!
