I really don't think DL is our greatest need. We need to take either a QB or a CB with our first, then maybe worry about DL in the 2nd or 3rd

This dude is a freaking beast. He reminds me of part Dockett, part James Harrison. I think you could slim this guy down a little and stand him up if you wanted to. Either way he's a disruptive playmaker.

I think to become the 2009 Clayborn he needs to lose some of the bulk he appears to have added. If he played down in the 260 range he looks like the type of player you could move around to use to wreak havoc like we used to with Charles Haley.

Don't like him. His stock dropped after a down 2010.

No. I don't how he went from such a high energy playmaker in 2009 to a guy who showed no huslte, no effort and was often found standing around doing nothing after engaging an offensive lineman.

Agreed. Drafting DL makes about as much sense as the best ILB available. Our DLine is not a weakness and getting a great DLinemen won't do much to improve the defense overall. We need defensive playmakers at the skill positions. Guys that are playmakers where defenses have to gameplan for them. A dominant pass rusher at OLB will improve our defense than any other dominant player on defense. This is probably also the position to have the most immediate impact.

I would say he can be soft and not sure how motivated he is. I would take Dareus, Fairley, Bowers before Clayborn. Don't think DE is first choice with QB, CB, OLB anyways. Cameron Heyward is another guy that dropped big time. He had a decent year but not enough to get him in the top ten like thought mid last year.
