Locker will struggle if he starts in year 1, I'd pick him in the second or late first but not at #7, my god how long are we going to continue to allow him to be inconsistently accurate, have head-scratching decision making, and say "oh he has all the tools"
forget the tools, give me the intangibles if I'm picking a QB in the top 10, I look forward to see what Newton, Gabbert, and Mallett show in the combine and pro days, but right now I'm not sure any QB is top 10 worthy
edit: I'm not saying the tools are not important, but give me the complete package if you wanna be a top5/10 QB

Locker would be like Clausen this year... if we pick him at 45 I would understand. Not my first choice but a lot of potential.

Or missing the wide open TE on the stick route when he dumped it off to Scott.

it WAS a bad decision, Jake may have the SPEED to get big chunks of yards when he goes forward, but he doesn't have the ACCELERATION to be going laterally trying to avoid NFL-type Dlinemen, and that led to the blindside hit that led to the fumble

Stanzi has looked good for the most part in this game, I think he's a 3rd rounder who could be a late 2nd and really has a chance to be a solid started in the near future

Still thinking early 3rd is the earliest spot for Stanzi... wouldn't mind him for SF there.

I bet you most of those kids he pulled that against won't be linemen at the nfl, if they even make it.
Ponder time

I am sure you guys have talked about it but anyone watching Marecic or Fua today? Did Whalen play in this game. I canceled DTV for the off season. My s**tty overpriced mobile broadband couldn't keep up for more than 1 play.
