Stanzi is the only one beside Luck that has really improved and helped him self this year. I have read a lot of negative things on him as well. Pat Devlin is a wildcard...

I just thought this draft would be more top heavy than it seems like it will be. Marvin Austin and Robert Quinn got kicked off UNC's team so those where two guys that we expected at the top but now they are bigger question marks.

its f**king amazing that when we get high ass picks like in 05 and possibly this yr were stuck in a no mans land situation while other teams find their qbs of the future

I know, some times it just takes luck to have the right pick in the right draft. Then again if we get coaches capable of developing a QB that will help. Not saying Locker, Mallett, etc couldn't be QBs of the future but Luck seems like the safest bet. The other two might have more potential though. Plus, like I mentioned it's tough with Austin, Quinn being out the year. There really aren't many pass rushing 3-4 OLBs out there and especially not at the top like Quinn who is a risk. No sure fire NT or FS that would be worth the pick. It would be nice if we had a Ngata or Sean Taylor or Eric Berry this year available for our top pick.

Hey, AB. Your list looks good to me but you don't think Quinn can play OLB in the 3-4? Can Bruce Carter play OLB in the 3-4 at 230 or has he bulked up?

Who are you wanting? As of now I like our position in the 2nd round though... possible OLB, QB, CB, FS could fall into our laps. Maybe Stanzi, Ayers, Beal, Jenkins, Dowling, etc. Maybe a FS like McDaniel or Williams falls into the 3rd round for us. Just don't like our spot in the first as I mentioned above I think we might be reaching no matter who we draft if Luck/Peterson are gone. Not sure Dareus, Quinn or Amukamara are worth the #4 pick and Locker is risky to me. Another thing to consider those is all these guys that you think you can steal can be shot up due to the combine. Guys like Quinn, Austin, Downling who have been injured or kicked off the team all it takes is to light up the combine and someone over drafts them. Same thing with guys that haven't had as good of years has hoped.
