Mock Draft

okay so I did my final draft but since then we've got Ted Ginn jr. as a KR/PR so it completely changes. Here's what I can see playing out.

1.(13) Traded to Philly (E.Thomas) for their #24 overall and # 37 overall , philly also gets our pick 182 in round 6.

1. (17) Charles Brown OT USC
1.(24) Kyle Wilson CB Kansas
2.(37) Demaryius Thomas WR GT
2. (49) John Jerry G Miss
3.(79) Reshan Jones S Georgia
4.(113) Brandon Spikes LB Florida
5- Tedd Ginn Jr. trade
6- Philly trade up
6 (205) D'Anthony Smith NT Louis Tech.
7. (224) Darius Marshall RB Marshall

So with a trade back we're not reaching for brown or wilson , alot of people have Dez falling so that's gonna push Benn back then push Thomas back. I feel like Thomas can be that great opposite reciever from Crabtree and allow Morgan and Ginn to be 3 and 4. Jerry's a solid guard that can come in and start early in his career. Jones can take over for Lewis in a year, Spikes hopefully can replace Spikes .. Smith and Marshall are projects but I for one would much rather see Darius Marshall then Coffee or Robinson running the ball if Gore was out for any time.

Thats my draft with 1 trade that very well could happen if Philly wants Thomas we call them and say , " we're taking him if you dont make an offer for him."

Any Mock with trades should be void at inception. Also, have you not watched any of our games and realized we hardly ran 4 reciever sets because that took VD off the field. The pick of thomas is a horrible horrible choice REPEAT HORRIBLE! I mean we just traded for Ginn to be our PR/KR and to be a lift the lid reciever as a 3rd or 4th reciever. Jason Hill came on at the end of the season and we still dont know what we have in Brandon Jones.

I like the idea of the trade, but the Thomas pick is sort of pointless with our sudden depth at WR. Other than that, I really like the Spikes pick and I don't know much about your late round guys.
so getting a better wr then josh morgan is off the list. ?? IDK, but Josh hasnt been mr. magic man so far in his career.

You say that but I can almost promise u we trade one of those 2 picks. We almost always make 1st round trades.

I think we would be extremely fortunate if Brown is still available at 17. The way OTs go I wouldn't count on it. The problem is that if Brown is gone at 17 we traded back and missed out on a great OT prospect. Very risky.
I dont think so joey, if not then we need to load up on the great talent that drops, if that means taking Dez and Haden or Morgan whatever do it. Then get a tackle in the 2nd, should able to get Saffold or Ducasse maybe Jason Fox. I know its crazy but I wouldnt trade up for one, I like to trade back or let the draft come to us..

i love this draft except i see it a lot more like taking reshad jones or nate allen in the 2nd round and maybe ducasse instead of jon jerry, then maybe brandon spikes in the 3rd. not sure if he'd fall to the 4th. so just a little shifting and i think it'd be good. also, i don't think we should draft a WR this year. we have too many. crabtree, morgan, hill, jones, ginn and zeigler.

NO absolutely not we dont need another reciever in the first 3 rounds. If anything we could use a change of pace back like a Mcluster in the 3rd NO RECIEVERS
we do not take a wr in this years draft because we are already loaded with them....esp after ginn jr. If there is a really really good prospect that falls AT LEAST 1 or 2 rounds then maybe....but i don't see that happening.

I think we stay put at 13 and get Davis the OT but if he is gone, we may not trade back for fear that Brown may be gone at 17 (a team could trade up in front of us at 17 to get the next best OT remember).

With our 2nd round pick i could see us getting a cb.......but 13 i see davis and 17 i see either thomas and if he's not there maybe then we trade back a few spots to get wilson.

Good Trade but...................

1. (17) Sergio Kindle or Jerry Hughes
1.(24) Kyle Wilson
2.(37) Roger Saffold
2. (49) John Jerry
3.(79) Reshan Jones S
4.(113) Brandon Spikes LB
5- Tedd Ginn Jr. trade
6- Philly trade up
6 (205) D'Anthony Smith NT Louis Tech.
7. (224) Darius Marshall RB Marshall

this and i would have happy feet
without a trade up.. I'd draft

1.a. anthony davis T Rutger
1.b. Mike Iupati G Idaho
2.Patrick Robinson CB FSU
3. Reshad Jones S Georgia
4. Brandon Spikes LB Florida
6. George Selvia DE South FL.
6. Dan Lefevour QB Cent.Mich
7.Darius Marshall RB Marshall
I was using the extra 2nd for a luxury pick at that time, u coulda thrown in BPA really.

Now THIS I could go for! However, I can't find any mock that has Robinson falling to our #49. I think Jones will be gone by our 3rd rounder as well. If this happened, I would be VERY happy.
Any draft with Reshad Jones = Good draft. Nice job!
