Dang this washington/ND game is insane. we're heading for OT!
Way to go Locker -- leading them down from the ten yard line to tie the game up!
That almost INT was a terrible decision. As much as the results are there, I must say that I'm not too excited about that drive...a split second away from loosing the game

he was hit while throwing. you cant blame him too much on that imo. clausen has looked really good too though.
I feel so bad for Jake Locker.. he made several beautiful passes that his receivers dropped, costing Washington the game.

Two first down passes, and one touchdown pass dropped. That's inexcusable.
Man locker's supporting cast really let him down. those last 2 passes shouldve been caught and he got hit all day. he played well enough for them to win, i was really impressed.

They were in field goal range, and had a TO. In my opinion if you're under pressure you either throw it away or take the sack. You DON'T risk turning it over

He didn't have time to scramble away and throw it away. He couldn't take a sack and risk losing the game by being knocked out of field goal range. He tried to get the ball out fast and get the pass off. I didn't see any problem with the decision, his arm simply got hit.

Locker didn't do anything wrong -- it was simply the defender making a play.

I don't want to argue this without going back and looking at the play, and unfortunately I did not record this game, but my initial thought was that they were still in field goal range, and taking the sack was not going to loose the game. Then again I don't know the kicker's range.

Both are late day-two picks at best at this point.
A quarterback name to remember is Aaron Opelt of Toledo. A strong developmental prospect turning some heads and catching the eyes of some people.

Had a fantastic game winning TD throw today to beat Ball State. The guy's putting up some big numbers, but virtually all of it against less-than-stellar competition (his team was shut out against Ohio State, 48% completion with one pick against them.)

But as a player, he's got some tools to work with -- not that we need a QB after seeing what we have to work with in Nate Davis. I'm just saying, take note of the kid.
